Holiday rentals with a pool in Gavalohori

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der Villa Despina! Die Lage ist traumhaft ruhig, perfekt zum Entspannen, und gleichzeitig ein guter Ausgangspunkt, um den Süden Kretas zu erkunden. Die Villa selbst ist sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und bestens ausgestattet – von der Küche bis zum schönen Außenbereich mit Pool war alles top gepflegt. Besonders gefallen haben uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft und die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten bei unserer Ankunft. Wir haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt! Ein echtes Highlight: der traumhafte Blick auf die umliegende Natur und die Sonnenuntergänge am Abend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können die Villa Despina jedem empfehlen, der Ruhe, Komfort und kretische Herzlichkeit sucht. Vielen Dank für alles!

The location of villa Adriana is perfect for people who love the quiet country side. No neighbours, but some goats , sheep and a cat who can see you walking in pyjamas in the garden in the morning. Very comfy and really huge beds! The kitchen has all the utensils you need to cook. There could be more light above the (electric) stove. The one from the extractor hood didn’t work. Compared with the beautiful bathroom and bedroom downstairs the kitchen is rather outdated. It was fine to cook nevertheless , especially with the delicious olive oil Alexandros gave us! Unfortunately it was not warm enough -end April, start of May- to swim in the pool, but the view of the pool with the garden full of flowers and olive trees and, on the background, the mountains still covered with a bit of snow was stunning anyway! I loved the road to the house: first drive through the village with narrow streets and then through the olive yards. Last but not least: the host Alexandros is very kind as well!

Geweldige accomodatie, fantastisch verzorgde woning ook halverwege de week extra linnengoed, handdoeken, en vloeren gepoetst. Goed uitgangspunt voor uitstapjes. Prachtig prive kapelletje met bijpassend verhaal. Zeer vriendelijke goed bereikbare host, die af en toe kwam kijken of alles in orde was, leuke gesprekken. Zwembad en bijbehorende privacy was top! In e woning was alles aanwezig wat nodig was.

Ons verblijf was werkelijk fantastisch. de woning en vooral de tuin was nog mooier als op de foto's. Alles was ontzettend netjes en de woning is van alle gemakken voorzien. We kregen goede tips van onze host voor restaurants in de buurt en de locatie van de woning was voor ons echt een pluspunt. Er zijn genoeg leuke restaurants in de buurt en supermarkten en je kunt makkelijk naar locaties zoals Bálos, Kournas lake, Chania of de botanische tuinen. Maar als je dan terugkomt bij de villa heb je een oase aan rust. Ik ben al op meerdere plekken geweest in Kreta, maar qua ligging is dit absoluut mijn favoriet! Wij zullen zeker weer terug komen!

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

Clean and spacious accommodation on many levels set down from the road- so lots of steps to consider. Set at the top of a breathtakingly beautiful valley overlooking the town and sea nearby and snow capped mountains opposite. Pool was well used and the jacuzzi was a bonus. Comfy beds and a choice of 3 terraces all with shade or sunshine. Traffic noise can echo up the valley at busier times. Local villages and walks from the door are stunning - good beaches nearby and only 50 mins by car from Chania airport. Car necessary to get to town to shop and local amenities. Travel light - there is a washing machine and plenty of towels. Provision of bathroom products, tea, coffee enough for first day. Bring own beach towels. Double glazing excellent for peaceful nights sleep and shutters keep house cool during hot sunny days. Good value for money and our excellent host was superbly responsive after unexpected storm damage.

What a wonderful stay we had at Villa ROSEMARY! We found it easily, according to the directions sent. Hospitality was outstanding, making us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Jurga gave us fantastic recommendations for exploring the area, best tavernas and beaches nearby - we discovered a lot of Crete secrets. The villa itself was spotlessly clean and tidy. Furnished cozy and tastefully. Everything you could need for a vacation: a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, oven, washing machine. We were greeted with wine and fresh fruits. The tranquil olive grove setting, big pool, and stunning views made it an unforgettable experience. Far surpassing what we expected - Highly, highly recommend!

We LOVED our stay at Butterfly, and felt sad when we left! We came to Crete for a week for a birthday celebration, and wanted to be a little out of the tourist areas. Our check in was seamless, and Theo from Muses travel was always contactable to help us out with anything. The WiFi wasn’t working properly when we got there, and everyone went out of their way to get it fixed for us. The village of Armeni was beautiful and had an excellent mini market (shoutout to Niko), and a couple of great restaurants. Rethymno is a beautiful city which is just 10 minutes away. There were four of us so it was reasonably priced to hire a driver for our day trips, so we saw Knossos and Heraklion, and then also took a day trip to Spili, Agia Galini and Matala. If we ever get back to Crete would LOVE to return to Butterfly.🦋

Excelente estadia, com check-in flexível a qualquer e estacionamento. É necessário carro, fica a 10minutos do centro de chania. Piscina impecável, espaço exterior muito bem aproveitado. Interior não é muito grande, mas excelente com todas as comodidades necessárias, ainda com miminhos que os donos deixaram. Sem dúvida recomendo a hospedagem!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

Es war super schön hier. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und die Kommunikation verlief reibungslos. Die Unterkunft ist wie auf den Bildern. Man ist ein bisschen am Berg oben, was super schön ist, da es dort viel ruhiger ist. In die Stadt und zum Strand kommt man super zu Fuß. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

isla luxary Appartement hält was der Name verspricht. Als Familie mit mehren Generationen hatten wir die Pool- Wohnung gemietet, die sehr modern, geschmackvoll, großzügig und komfortabel war. Die großen Schlafzimmer verfügen über gepflegte, saubere Badezimmer mit genügend Handtüchern. Die Betten sind extrem bequem mit regelmäßig gewechselt Bettwäsche. Insgesamt ist die Wohnung größer als sie auf den Fotos wirkt und hat uns damit freudig überrascht. Wir benötigten für unser Baby eine Extra-Austattung, die qualitativ hochwertige war. Das ist nicht selbstverständlich.Der absolute Traum ist der architektonisch perfekt angelegte Aussenbereich mit hochwertigen, bequemen Mobiliar und gepflegten Pflanzen. Die professionelle Reinigung wird früh morgens durchgeführt und der Pool erscheint stets blitzsauber. Bei Fragen und wetterbedingten kleineren Problemen war Stamatis schnell und sachkundig zur Stelle, so dass wir uns stets gut aufgehoben fühlten. Ein besonderer Urlaub in besonderem Ambiente!

Despina was a very helpful and communicative host who responded to all questions very quickly. The apartment is situated in the hills with a view of the sea. Rethymno is an easy 10 minute car journey away. It was very nice to sit outside in the evening, on the patio next to the swimming pool, and watch the sunset and the sea. The private swimming pool is small but fine for a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. The kids liked it. The apartment is a good size and includes all the equipment you would find in your house (washing machine, oven, microwave, clothes iron...). This makes it very practical. Overall it was a comfortable place to stay and a convenient base from which to explore the area around Rethymno.

Die Unterkunft und generell die Anlage drumherum war sehr gepflegt und wir haben uns dort super wohlgefühlt. Der Pool und die Aussicht von hier aus war echt toll. Die Anlage liegt in den Bergen mit einem Weitblick zum Meer - echt schön 😍 Claudia und Marco waren sehr freundlich und immer erreichbar, falls wir Empfehlungen für die Gegend benötigt haben 🙂 Wir hatten insgesamt eine sehr erholsame Zeit 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here. It was located in a more local area about 30-40 minutes from downtown Chania. We were surrounded by stunning views in the mountains. It was quiet, peaceful, and private. Sofia greeted us with such a friendly welcome and a delicious home cooked meal. She was very responsive too. We also enjoyed her local restaurant recommendations. The home itself is beautiful, it was lovely learning about its history and how beautifully traditional the home was kept yet equipped with many updated amenities. Note that renting a car is a must! We would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone.

Beautiful villa with great pool and views and bbq. We cook and the kitchen was very well equipped. Igor was helpful throughout the week. We loved the area with a few restaurants within walking distance.

The property is beautiful and location just perfect just a 15mins bus ride to the harbor which is full of nice restaurants and shops etc. The property is a short walk to the beautiful beaches with a few beach bars with nice food and drink and restaurant not far away with very nice food. Das war mit Abstand das beste Haus was wir je über AirBnB gemietet haben. Es fehlte einen an nichts. Die Besitzerin Poly hat einen jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Das Haus war so sauber das man vom Fußboden hätte essen können. Der Kühlschrank war mit dem nötigsten gefüllt. Es gab eine Flasche Wein zur Begrüßung. Sie hat das Haus in der Zeit mehrfach gereinigt. Wir hätten das Haus am liebsten gekauft. Alles im allen locker 10 * wert.

Die Ferienwohnung war topp, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Gute Lage zwischen Flughafen und Chania. Besonders hervorheben möchte aber die sehr gute Kommunikation und Lösungsorientierung mit Effie. Ich hatte die Ferienwohnung für unsere Tochter (war damals noch 17 Jahre alt) und ihr Freunde gemietet. Effie war von Anfang an offen für diese Buchung und hat alles sehr positiv unterstützt. Sie war immer sehr schnell erreichbar und hat uns immer das Gefühl von Sicherheit gegeben. Als unserer Tochter wieder Zuhause war, hatte sie nur Gutes und Wertschätzendes zu der gesamten Reise geäußert. Effie war auch mehrfach in der Ferienwohnung und hat wertvolle Infos und Tipps mitgeteilt. Es war einfach alles nur sehr schön. Lieben Dank Effie!!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. The outside area was amazing for relaxing wish we could have stayed longer. And will definitely book again with Dimitrios. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Thank you

Mathios en Lilian, ontzettend bedankt voor het fantastische verblijf. Het heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen. We hebben genoten van de heerlijke luxe en het comfort, het ontbrak ons aan niets. Samen met onze 3-jarige zoon hebben we een geweldige tijd gehad en volop genoten.

We had a great stay in Crete in Atsipopoulo. The location is really great - since Atsipopulo is near the middle of the island, it's just about 1 hour to either Heraklion or Chania. It's also quick to get to the south side of Crete. We rented a car and were able to find parking near by consistently during our stay in May. We were told by other guests that the bus to Rethymo was easy but we don't have personal experience with this. Within walking distance is a grocery store, several restaurants and bakeries. The restaurants are mostly fast food, but just up the road are some great tavernas. Manolis is a great host and responded to all of our questions. Our room was cleaned weekly. We enjoyed our room very much, but what really made us love our stay was all of the common spaces. The rooftop was our favorite place to relax as well as get some work done. There are also friendly cats, which was a huge plus for us.
