What a beautiful place! This rustic Airbnb is located in the middle of the cornfields, on a spacious and attractive site. The house combines the classic character of stone with modern materials, creating a warm and stylish look. Everything inside has been carefully arranged. The kitchen is handy and fully equipped, and the shower and sink are of good quality – practical and comfortable. The area is wonderfully quiet, perfect for really relaxing and enjoying nature. And as icing on the cake: within walking distance, you will find a perfect pizzeria where you can eat surprisingly well. In short, an ideal place for those who love silence, comfort and a touch of French charm.

Impeccable and functional accommodation!

We had a great 4 days. Very well received by Nadège, we were able to enjoy the facilities. The cottage is spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and very clean, with a very nice pool. The nearby road is not a problem because the large garden is well isolated by the house. From the cottage, many tourist sites are easily accessible. Thanks again to Nadège for her kindness and congratulations on the quality of the amenities.

Pascale was friendly and helpful. She spoke some English and I was able to practice my limited French, which was fun. The gite very clean and was ideal for a restful holiday, being immersed in nature and set in tranquil green countryside, off the beaten track. The garden at the back had two mature trees which provided welcome shade when needed. It was ideal for sitting out and having a quiet read. It is a place my wife and I would be very happy to return to.

The house is spacious and very well renovated. It is beautiful with a large garden and a beautiful terrace. We were two couples with 4 children and we all loved our stay! We highly recommend this listing.

Lyne and Pascal have furnished the house with style and attention to detail. Everything from the linens to saucepans was a pleasure to use and we had the most relaxing stay. After 5 days it was difficult to drag ourselves from the bucolic view so we’re already thinking of when we can return.

La Grangette has been beautifully restored and imaginatively configured with a great living space, a very well equipped kitchen, nice shower room and comfortable beds. It is in a beautiful location with lovely walks from the door. We look forward to returning to this special place, thoroughly recommended.

We absolutely loved our stay at Sophie and Daniel’s Cap de Rivière. We received a very warm welcome on our arrival and immediately felt at home. We had a great pool, 6 bikes, table tennis, boule, billiards and darts to keep us fully occupied. The gardens were beautiful and the outdoor spaces perfect for enjoying the long hot days. The house was striking in its decor and very well equipped with everything we needed. Sophie and Daniel were the perfect hosts and we would love to return one day.

Great modern house with all the comforts. It seemed difficult to find in advance, but was very easy to find afterwards. Pool not used (too cold). The host had prepared delicious breakfast and dinner (for a fee). The horses in the meadow around the house as well as the tranquility and the view the valley in amazing. Everything fenced for the dog. Sitting outside under the canopy with a blanket with welcome drink and snack :D We have plans to go in November instead of 2 nights, a week...

An interesting layout for a beautiful cottage, it takes a bit to get used to it, amazing views, at the edge of the forest and the village. We had a wonderful time with our friends, lots of activities to do in the area and many places to visit. Thank you for you hospitality, Lumi & Liviu

We have just had the most amazing stay here! The house and grounds are stunning with amazing views. The house is very close to Bergerac but is very private in the countryside with vast grounds. We had such a peaceful and relaxing break. Jil was a wonderful host, so responsive and helpful. She sent great instructions for our arrival, lots of recommendations and also came over on the evening of our arrival to make sure we were comfortable and to explain things around the house, which was appreciated. Would love to stay again and will be recommending to friends and family!

Very lovely place with a beautiful view

It’s difficult to describe how special this place is! Situated on a beautiful property, the apartment is accessed through a gate into a courtyard and feels very private. (The place does share the courtyard with two other rental units, which were empty when we were there but it might have felt less private had they been occupied.) A converted barn, the apartment is cozy and unique with beautiful, thoughtful touches throughout. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and cooking in the well-appointed kitchen was a pleasure. Hosts are wonderful - warm and welcoming, and available and helpful without being intrusive. They even offered to bake us a savory pie on arrival and happily donated some butter to make our daughter’s birthday cake as the nearby shops were closed. We would love to come back one day and be able to swim and spend more time outdoors - as it was, our daughter loved exploring the yard and woods, filled with delightful surprises. A gem!

Elodie is an extremely responsive and kind person!! His accommodation is located in a very quiet environment where everything is accessible on foot, you just have to park the car and enjoy. The house is also very good and the key collection is very easy. I booked it for my mother-in-law who was very happy with it, for each next visit we will call Elodie! Thank you very much

Steve was very helpful always available to answer any questions. The place is a paradise and great walkways, views etc. His caretaker, Pascal, helped us check-in and offered to help…. Even set us up for a day of kayaking not mention and really great guy.

We had an absolutely lovely stay. Cornelis and his wife are wonderful and friendly hosts! The apartment boasts great views over the Lot, and they lended us a kayak so we could go experience it from up close. Nothing but great things to say about this place, and we'll be sure to stay again if we come back to the area.

Pleasant accommodation in a green residence, corresponding in every respect to the listing. We were able to fully enjoy the pool. La Dame du Lac restaurant nearby that we recommend. An excellent starting point for visiting the region. Marie is a responsive and accommodating host.

An amazing chance to stay in a real chateau. Really spacious apartment in one of the towers. Lots of places to explore and very quiet and peaceful. Alice and her team were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful few days.

Charlotte was an excellent host. Very quick responses and when we had a problem ,she was brilliant. The cottage is super and our dogs appreciated the large garden and easy walks from the front door. A special mention for the nearby little hamlet just down the lane. Very friendly neighbours and until the end of September an interesting archaeological dig is underway. The archaeologists were quite happy to explain what was being excavated and what they were finding. The local Bastide villages are very pretty and with good local restaurants easy to find. Enjoy your holiday.

It was our first Airbnb reservation and honestly, very, very, very satisfied. the accommodation is located in the forest, quiet, very quiet, peaceful, bucolic. the place was spotless. only small downside, there is no microwave, but that didn't bother us too much. There is all the equipment you may need, nothing to bring from home. the terrace? a STRONG point, the view is magnificent, the wisteria too, there is a table and chairs to enjoy a breakfast in the air. our 3 dogs were delighted with the small path that goes down the chalet to be able to go for their daily walk, we did not go into the forest or on the path, which there is (because I am allergic to grass and forest) but it must be very pleasant for walkers, if we are allowed of course. There are many small villages around that deserve to be visited as we did In summary, I recommend this chalet and its hosts. thank you both
