Das Haus verfügt über vier Etagen Keller, EG, OG und der Schlafbereich in der Spitze und es wird mit Holz geheizt. Holz steht zur Verfügung. Am nahegelegenen Campingplatz kann man Wassertreter oder ein Boot für Ausflüge mieten oder ein Floß. Die naheliegenden Städte Dömitz, Ludwigslust und Schwerin sind auf jeden Fall einen Ausflug wert.
