Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Gersau

Our family needed some rest and relaxation in nature with hiking trails right outside our door step. We got exactly that! What a beautiful cabin situated in the middle of the mountains at 1000m. The village of Isenthal was so picturesque. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our stay and wished it could have been longer. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with our family!

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

We spent two weeks at Brigitte and Sepp's place while visiting family in Switzerland. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We absolutely loved it. This has been a most amazing and wonderful experience. Brigitte and Sepp are kind, wonderful people and went above and beyond to make our stay a great experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend a stay at Brigitte and Sepp's. The apartment is upstairs with a separate entrance, and has a full kitchen and three bedrooms. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and had everything and more than we needed for our stay. The nearby villages of Sattel and Steinerberg have all the necessities for daily live, i.e. small grocery stores, bakeries, banks, gas stations, restaurants. The town of Schwyz is about 20 minutes away and has bigger shopping centers and more amenities.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, but gave us complete privacy. We felt right at home! The neighborhood was peaceful and close to train station/bus stops. Their amenities and furniture comfort were great. Thank you!

The apartment is quite tiny but absolutely had everything we needed. We loved our little stay there before we drove to interlaken. Marion and Thomas were very helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

We had an unforgettable stay at Tina and Fredy's. The view from the accommodation is simply breathtaking, a real little corner of paradise in the middle of nature! The accommodation is beautiful and very clean. Tina and Fredy are lovely hosts, very available and always ready to help or answer our questions. We had a wonderful stay at these apartments. They are very comfortable, cozy, and quiet, located in a charming spot by the lake. The hosts were excellent—quick to respond to any questions and even provided nice touches like a bottle of wine.

Staying and Maria’s home was wonderful! The views are spectacular and the balcony is quite wide, providing lots of outdoor living space. The apartment is quite spacious and was kept in very good condition. Maria gave very clear instructions for check in and check out which made the process very smooth.

We really enjoyed our stay. The space was clean and welcoming. Great location and incredible view of the lake! Communication with us was excellent.

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

We had been looking for a modern apartment for our vacation on Lake Lucerne for a long time and then came across Roshan's great Scandinavian furnished, bright and friendly apartment. We felt very comfortable from the beginning, everything you need is there - compact, high-quality and cozy. Mattress is excellent, we slept super well. The roof terrace is beautifully situated towards the forest hill and you can hear a lot of nature. That's really great. The roof at the back protects from the noise of the road and railway tracks by the lake. The communication was exemplary and super friendly! You can quickly walk to the lake, boat, train and in the village with a bakery, butcher and Lidl. Logistically top location! We highly recommend the apartment and will gladly come back ourselves.

The surroundings of Doris' apartment are simply WONDERFUL, a special place that will make you feel immense regret when you have to leave. The apartment is small, but it has everything you need, and Doris makes you feel at home, always ready to help you make your stay a great experience. The host was warm, professional, and provided clear instructions for check-in, along with great local tips for hikes, restaurants, and sightseeing. We especially appreciated the welcome Swiss chocolate and a guidebook—it was such a thoughtful touch! The location was ideal—peaceful and scenic, yet just a short drive or train ride to nearby towns and attractions

We were so impressed with this air bnb! It was incredibly clean and I could tell how much attention to detail Orlando had put into the whole experience. The surroundings were also so beautiful and quiet. There was a grocery store a 2 min walk away and it was very quick and easy to get to the airport the next morning. We would definitely stay here again!
