Waterfront holiday rentals in Giardini Naxos

We came by taxi from the airport. Antonietta waited for us in the apartment and told us about what we saw around us, gave tips on restaurants and told us about dishes you should try when you are in Aci Castello. The apartment was well equipped, but we were probably too late to use the mosquito spray. Walking distance to Aci Trezza and Catania is also not far away (by bus). After purchasing swimming shoes, we tried a small swim in the sea that lies just below the apartment. Here it must be said that we had problems both getting in and out of the sea due to large rocks that had to be forced. The apartment is well equipped and we bought food and ate breakfast "at home", also made a couple of dinners in the city to eat out. The terrace was fantastic and we sat outside all the time, except when we wanted to watch the national match between Norway and Italy (which Norway won). I highly recommend both the place and the apartment.

The view is as good as you think it will be. The apartment is spacious with two balconies. PROS: The sea view, Rita's responsiveness (she really did reply within a few minutes of sending her a message), the price, location with all the restaurants/cafes/grocery shops just a few minute walk, wifi was very good (used remote server). Bus stop to the airport is just down the road (5 min?) with a bus every 30 minutes. CON: The apartment sits between two roads. The one in front (where the view is) is busy at certain times in the morning and during the day, but the rest of the time it is fairly quiet. The other road at the back is busy from early morning to late into the night. This is where the bedroom is, so I had to wear ear plugs at night. FYI: If you do not wear shoes inside, pack a pair of slippers. The floors looked clean, but my feet were getting very dirty from walking inside the apartment without shoes. Bring a beach towel if you plan on swimming. There are several nice beaches.

Had a very nice stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had a beautiful view of Mount Etna from one balcony where we could have breakfast in the shade in the morning. But if we wanted sun, we would sit on the other balcony overlooking the sea and the garden below. If we had any questions, Aretas responded very quickly and kindly. We soon felt at ease and we were very happy with the parasol that was present. The restaurant opposite the apartment complex is recommended! The Airbnb is a pleasant base for surrounding cities and nature reserves.

The appartment is located perfectly for staying at the beautiful beach and also to get up to the center of Taormine within minutes. We even got a lot of free drinks on our fridge, including local and tasty wine from Sicily. We felt very comfortable and safe in the appartment and surrounded area. In addition we got great recommendations for restaurants (very delicious), trips and other things to do. Many thanks to Rocco and Massimo, our stay was amazing! It was a great location, right in the middle of the action and bars/restaurants, but not noisy. The beach was just a walk over the road and so there the restaurants and bars, we had a car but did not need it. The car space is very narrow, we had a Fiat 600 and had to fold the mirrors to get in, so don't bring a big car. Sadly Etna was as quiet as a mouse the whole time we were there, but erupted about an hour after we left! So we missed it, but another time maybe and we will certainly stay again.

This apartment has the most stunning views, and an enormous, wrap around balcony from which to enjoy them! It's a lovely, scenic, peaceful, and spacious spot to kick off your stay in the region. It is on a hillside and not in an area that's super walkable, so I would definitely recommend having a car. The flat was well equipped with kitchenware and some shampoo/shower gel in the bathroom, as well as a lovely welcome pack bottle of wine. The hosts were extremely accommodating and flexible with a last-minute change of dates, which we so appreciated! When we had issues with the hot water, they were very responsive and helped fix the issue quickly despite the holiday weekend. Thanks again for a lovely stay!

This was such a lovely and relaxing place. The outside space with the patios was amazing. There’s plenty of space indoors with a well equipped kitchen and I loved that the bedrooms are downstairs so you don’t have to bring the luggage upstairs. It was an easy drive to visit Taormina and Sergio was nothing but helpful with tips of where to park and places to eat. We would definitely return!

Francesco received us very well, it was super attentive. For being first floor, I was worried about the noise, but I was able to sleep very well, it didn't get in the way

We spend wonderful week at Alfio's place. All good reviews are hundred percent correct. View is amazing! Flat is very clean and cosy. There is air conditioning for every room separately. It's everything what you need and even more. Flat is simple but everything is solid and good quality. The area is great. All aperitivo we had on the terrace was with amazing view, quiet area and we were really satisfied. Hosts are very helpful and were responding to us very fast :) We will go back for sure :) Grazie di cuore :)

We had a lovely stay at Chiara"s place. Swims in the morning and drinks on the balcony in the warm evenings. The apartment is very well appointed and tastefully decorated.

We loved our family stay at Cristina's place a lot and can truly recommend it! Especially la Terrazza - the terrace and the closeness to the beach and restaurants made it so easy to be there as a family. She even has a collection of toys our 5y-old enjoyed. The interior is very tasty and tidy. And Cristina was so heartfelt welcoming (offering local pastry) and helping with a lot of useful information. The street can be noisy at times, but the windows keep that outside and the A/C cools down sleeping areas when needed. Thank you so much for everything, Cristina.

We were very pleased with our stay. Alessandro was very communicative, at check-in, in case of problems, when transferring our daughter to the airport. We enjoyed the small terrace very much, but it felt almost directly by the sea. We can only recommend the apartment. Volker and Iris

Daniele's apartment is at the far end of the Naxos bay a ten minute walk from the hussle and bussle of the beaches and beach side restaurants/traffic. It sits between a couple of small, independent hotels but for us, in mid-June, was very quiet and peaceful, and with a beautiful setting overlooking well kept gardens and the sea. Not much else to add to the other positive reviews.....it's a great, well-appointed, private and quiet apartment and not a bad place from which to explore the Messina region if you have a car. We certainly recommend!

Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

We really enjoyed two bedroom apartment with clean bathrooms and kitchen! Francesco was very helpful with recommendations of the restaurants, shops and attractions . We had a beautiful balcony with sea view where we had breakfast every morning, great parking just next to the our building. We were able to walk to the downtown but it is not an easy walk. Francesco gave us instructions how to get to the public parking by the car and that was very helpful.

Claudia was an extremly welcoming, warm and amazing Person. She was always asking if everything is fine, if she can help us in any way and if we need anything. I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone to take this airbnb, she is just amazing. Amazing place, super close to the beach (30 meters!!!). Clean, nice and just perfect. Very quiet place. You can actually rest after a long day. We had ocean view and that was wonderful to see the sunrise and the sunset..🌅 we felt very safe.

Well-located accommodation, close to Catania, Etna, and 1 hour from Taormina. A little out of the tourist center, but several restaurants nearby in Aci Trezza. Excellent recommendations for tours and restaurants by our hosts. Very nice welcome by Julia, many recommendations and detailed information. Accommodation a little cramped if you imagine staying at 4, but ideal for 2 people! Perfect equipment, with beach essentials, umbrellas if needed, etc.

Very beautiful house . And the location was spot on. You drink coffee hearing the peaceful sound of the sea.

The apartment is beautiful, exactly like the pictures, very contemporary with a balcony overlooking the sea at the front and a view of mount Etna at the back. The town, Stazzo, is a small Sicilian fishing village with few tourists. Although we don’t speak Italian, we were welcomed and found it to be a very friendly neighborhood with neighbours meeting on the seafront, passing the time of day with each other. It was lovely to see. When we were there the beaches were just starting to be converted for the summer season with wooden platforms being installed over the rocks but we were happy to swim and sunbathe on the many flat areas carved out on the rocks. All in all, it was a great base to explore the region, you will need a car but you can park right on front of the house, no problem.

Cettina and Roberto are very thoughtful hosts, a basket of local products was waiting for us, we really appreciated this gesture. The house with typical Sicilian decor is very well equipped, very comfortable and clean bedding. What makes this rental so charming is the view of Mount Etna with a field of lemon trees in the foreground. The neighborhood is quiet, and the covered parking is large enough to keep the car cool, which is very appreciable. Local shops for bread, meat, fruits and vegetables within 10 minutes' walk. We highly recommend it.
