Designed by interior designer René Kemper, this cottage exudes the warmth of a forest cabin, with beautiful details crafted from natural materials. The lovely veranda expands the living space, and the view is unique. Right next to the cottage, the gate provides access to the forest and heath of the Drentsche Aa, a magical atmosphere. Steelhouse - your forest escape by the lake

Unwind at this serene, secluded escape. Our Steel House, elevated on stilts, offers privacy and a rare connection with nature. Relax in the sauna for a peaceful retreat. At its highest point over the water, a sitting area with a 360º wood stove keeps you cozy. Enjoy movie nights with a beamer and speaker for extra entertainment. Outside, a spacious wooden deck with a sun lounger, outdoor dining table, BBQ, pizza oven, and a stunning lake view awaits. For dog owners: the property is fenced😊

Bungalow Pura Vida with Jacuzzi in nature reserve

In a beautiful nature reserve and within walking distance of swimming lakes Gasselterveld/'t Nije Hemelriek, our recently modernized vacation home is located in a quiet bungalow park and offers a lot of privacy with sunny and shady spots. To relax, there is a 3-person massage Jacuzzi under the veranda. The deposit for our house is €250. The area is ideal for peace seekers, hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. In our beautiful fenced private garden, you will enjoy the many bird species.

In 2024, this estate was transferred from a centuries-old family tradition to the Drenths landscape. Partly to preserve the estate, it was decided to partially convert it into an attractive B&B. Hoeve Hunzedal is situated near many nature reserves, such as the Hunzedal, the Drentse Aa, and the Hondsrug (UNESCO), making it the perfect base for wonderful walking and cycling tours (free bicycle storage available). Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway at the brand new summer cottage. The cottage was completed in 2023 and has everything you need. Lovely bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a nice living room and beautiful nature. There is WiFi, TV, underfloor heating, modern kitchen and there are no less than 3 bedrooms. It is one of the most beautiful places on the lake with the particularly beautiful evening sun over the beautiful Paterswoldsemeer. It is a rare and quiet place.

By bike, you can reach the Drenthe state forests with the beautiful Gasselterveld, Boomkroonpad and centuries-old dolmens.

Stadskanaal is located on the outskirts of Drenthe and Westerwolde. From here, you can reach the city of Groningen or Assen within 45 minutes by car. Leer or Oldenburg in Germany is also within reasonable reach. From Stadskanaal, there are beautiful cycling routes in Drenthe or Westerwolde. The fortified town of Bourtange is of course also worth a visit. Stadskanaal has restaurants, supermarkets, etc.
