Quiet residential area, easy walking to the Royal Infirmary. Bus stop to the city centre, festival venues and airport are only two minutes walk from our home. 30 mins to city centre and an hour to airport. Easy reach of the bypass with free parking on street. The Chinese themed bedroom has a standard double bed with wardrobe. Kitchen/diner and bathroom are shared with my husband and I. Please read the house rules before booking. Unique, eclectic apartment on the outskirts of Edinburgh allowing for easy travel into the centre whilst benefiting from peaceful surroundings. King size bed, smart TV, and all essential amenities. There is a bus stop at the end of the street with the 3 and the 29 taking you into the centre of Edinburgh every 5-10 mins at peak times (takes ~30 mins), as well as night buses that run throughout the night. This is usually my home so note that some of my things will be here :)

Located 20 minutes by car from the airport / 30-40 minutes by bus to and from the city centre. The double bedroom is located on the ground floor with a tea and coffee station and a private en-suite bathroom. The room can be accessed via the front door or through the back garden entrance. EV charging is allowed with prior arrangement at an extra cost.

I really enjoyed meeting Mairi and staying with her family in their home. She was very friendly and helpful, even letting me borrow a flask to take my pre-made lunch out on a day trip. The location was beautiful and private yet also very close to a bus stop with several buses that went into town. I appreciated being able to use the kitchen and laundry facilities as well. This was a great place and a lovely stay.

We felt very lucky to have found this hidden gem of a place! While it is some distance away from the main city area of Edinburgh, it's very well-connected with frequent buses running along the route. Mike's place was clean and cosy, and he went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and welcomed us into his home. Both Mike and Basa were super friendly and easy to be around, and by the end of our stay we both felt that our trip was too short! A big thanks to Mike and Basa for their hospitality and generosity, and we'd highly recommend this place to anyone else visiting Edinburgh ☺️ Will definitely also be back if we're ever in Edinburgh again

We had a fantastic stay with Susanne and Kilian in their lovely home. Susanne was a kind, considerate, and genuinely friendly host who made us feel completely at ease from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a real treat, with a thoughtful spread including fresh fruit, jams, bread, eggs, and a lovely variety of Nespresso coffees. It was great to see a selection of milks provided to cater for different dietary needs. The room and home were clean, tidy, and impressively well-organised. There were lots of thoughtful touches—locked drawers for valuables, hotel-style shampoo and body wash in the bathroom, and even umbrellas provided for wet days out. We felt very well looked after throughout our stay, and wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommended!
