Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Gironde estuary

Noëlle and Michel are charming and very welcoming. They took great care of us and the breakfast was hearty and balanced. The very clean accommodation is faithful to the description.

We had a lovely stay at Caroline's. The estate is beautiful, the accommodation is very nice, very clean and comfortable. Caroline is very friendly and very helpful and kind, she does everything to make the stay pleasant. The estate is very close to Jonzac where there are quite a few things to visit. I recommend.

Pierre is very responsive, helpful and very kind. Very nice room with a lot of outdoor space. Nice kitchen in the garden. I loved it. Clean room with everything you need. Very secure room. The stay at Martine's was wonderful. The house is truly magnificent, carefully furnished, very clean, and located in a quiet location but full of natural beauty to explore. We were also able to enjoy the wonderful pool that refreshed us after a very hot sunny day. Martine is an attentive and caring host and delighted us with a wonderful breakfast by the pool! Thanks again, Martine, for your attention, next time we will extend our stay by a few days!

our stay in Cerise room was just what we needed, a break from things in peaceful location, conveniently located close to La Rochelle, Ile d'oleron and Ile de Re. Thank you for the lovely homemade jams and yoghurt that came with our breakfast each morning.

Charming and attentive welcome, perfect calm, pleasant space in a nice corner of Aquitaine: I will gladly come back to stay a little longer and better enjoy the surroundings.

We booked the accommodation quite spontaneously. It was really nice with a small cow pasture next door. You had a super idyllic view. The house itself was very spacious and the kitchen was the highlight. Breakfast was also great service. You had a good connection and could quickly reach all the beaches and places in the area. We had a great time and look forward to coming back soon!

We stopped at Laurent and Dominique's during our bike trip on the Gironde estuary. A well-located home close to the bike path and harbor, and thoughtful hosts.

We had the most incredible stay in Chateau la Grande Clotte. Julie and her husband have created a wonderful space to relax and enjoy the French countryside. The setting was like a postcard, settled amongst vineyards and the renovations to the property have kept so much charming features. Easy to get to by car, we enjoyed the self guided bike tours to st Emillion and many wonderful meals out and a tour of the on site wine production facility . Each morning we enjoyed a lovely buffet breakfast. Their lovely dog was a welcome surprise and a wonderful addition. The perfect start to our holiday and hope to come back some day in the future.

We had a lovely stay with Nicola and William. We stayed for a couple of nights after a wedding nearby. Their house was clean, calm and relaxing. Special shout out to Isabella the dog who we loved. The breakfast was fresh and delicious.

I cannot recommend this place enough, this 5 star review does not do David’s place justice. From start to finish, this place was absolutely flawless. David is a warm and welcoming host who met us outside the property where we parked. He showed us into our room and made us feel at home right away. The room was big, bright, spacious and beautifully decorated. There was everything you could need and more. The bathroom was huge, with walk in shower and large sink basin. Breakfast was prepared by David each day which was a continental style, you had time to relax and enjoy your morning coffee with David as well as some lovely pastries. We ate dinner with David and his lovely wife on one night, it was EXCEPTIONAL. David is a fantastic chef, you can certainly tell that this is his passion. The grounds were beautiful, although it was a little cold for a swim, it was a wonderful setting. A peaceful street in a little village, 10 minute drive from the stunning St. Emilion. Book this place!!

Veronique and Giuse were so lovely. They could've have been nicer or more hospitable. The gypsy caravan is incredibly cosy and comfortable. It exceeded our expectations. Our lovely hosts even cleaned the pool before we had a swim - the pool was a real treat. Breakfast with Veronique's home made youghurt and jam was gorgeous. Can't recommend this stay enough - don't hesitate to book and have a magical stay as we did.

AMAZING place to stay. First of all, Laëtitia was very good advice in advance (when I had to find a restaurant in the area), then very welcoming on the day of our arrival and very nice throughout the stay. Then the place is just crazy. The place is impressive, the renovation is beautiful, the decoration is superb with lots of very nice details (vinyl records, guitars and musical instruments, skate park, etc.), the perfect bedding, the rooms are secluded and the breakfast is delicious. I recommend 1000%. It's an exceptional stopover in the area.

The accommodation is very well located, in a quiet area and close to public transport which makes access to the center of Bordeaux easy. The bedding is very good and Claude's welcome is charming.

Small overnight stay during a 190km bike trip. Philippe and Béatrice received us extremely well with a small welcome drink filled with kindness. The housing benefits are highly appreciable. We were able to enjoy a very nice little night jacuzzi. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent! 👍🏻
