A great getaway with loads to do close by for whatever mood you're in - great towns and cities like Calendar and Stirling less than half an hour away, equally beautiful countryside and multiple waterfalls, lochs and walks to choose from on the doorstep. Our toddler loved the on site swimming pool and the grown ups enjoyed the peaceful views from the hot tub too! Rosie was so friendly and accommodating.

A fantastic, well equipped cottage in a peacefull setting. Great for staying in or getting out and about the local area.

We absolutely loved staying at the cottage. This was our third place during our Scotland trip and I am so glad we booked it. It allowed us to explore more nature scenes across Scotland and simply have a safe and comfortable home after exploring all day. If we are ever in Scotland again, we will certainly book again.

Was very happy with our stay here, The evening with the hot tub was lovely and private, everything was clean and well presented. There was games left in the house for our use and we got use of these. The instructions before arriving to find location was helpful although the postcode in Apple Maps did take us straight the correct location which was great. Overall we were very pleased with the whole experience and would stay again. The added bonus was the hosts had a new puppy and we got to meet this beautiful fur baby on checkout.

Dina was great. She was away while we visited but was still helpful and responsive from Australia. Beautiful peaceful little home with views of the pasture, cows, and rabbits from the hot tub area.

Had a lovely stay at this cottage . Near to Edinburgh as my son was doing the marathon but in a lovely location . Kylie was response to our messages and a lovely homemade loaf gave that extra touch for our arrival . Would definitely recommend and stay again .

We had a really lovely stay at the cottage, and as others have said the games room is fabulous fun, the horses were a huge hit with our kids, and we thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after a fun day out! Thank you again Helen and family for a super place to relax and have great fun. We really enjoyed our visit.

The house was wonderful - we were delighted with both the location and with the property. The house was immaculate, and beautifully furnished with some really lovely pictures and objects throughout. The rooms were all good-sized and bright with the kitchen/dining area overlooking the garden a real standout. It was very well maintained and it felt like a proper home from home. The location was really lovely too - nice and quiet with a very short walk to the beach. We particularly enjoyed our walks around the area and along to Chanonry Point to look for the dolphins. A local pub and a lovely restaurant were close by too which was a bonus! Our host, Eva, provided us with clear and concise information prior to our arrival and messaged us a couple of times during our stay to make sure that all was in order. This was very much appreciated. We would not hesitate to recommend the property to others, and we certainly plan to visit again!

An ideal home for two on a peaceful island about half an hours drive from Oban where there are supermarkets, restaurants, shops and pubs. We did a big shop at Tesco in Oban as there is only a little shop selling basics in Seil. The cooker at the house worked well and there was plenty of space for preparing food. We enjoyed our stay and Jack our dog was fascinated by all the rabbits hopping about on the golf course nearby.

This place is amazing! So peaceful and private with stunning views across the countryside. The house is incredibly stylish and very nicely done. The outdoor bath was a highlight, such a great idea and so much nicer than a hot tub. We saw a kingfisher going up and down the river right outside the balcony. All in all one of the best places we have stayed. Would highly recommend. Thanks so much Georgina!

Parfait ! Charmant bothy situé dans un cadre idyllique, le Glen Etive. Lors de mon premier voyage en Écosse, j'ai eu un véritable coup de cœur pour ce lieu et quand j'ai su que l'on pouvait loger dans ce bothy, je n'ai pas hésité une minute à y reserver plusieurs nuits. Endroit très propre, fonctionnel: 6 lits, une grande table, plusieurs fauteuils, des jeux à disposition, un insert pour faire un feu, une cuisine avec tout l'équipement nécessaire et une belle salle de bain. Merci à Sheri d'avoir fait de cet endroit, un cocon confortable pour les voyageurs qui souhaitent profiter d'un cadre apaisant et se laisser emporter par les paysages sublimes du Glen Etive. Absolutely stunning setting on the loch - we got to see gannets diving one breakfast time. It made a great base for exploring the area, both to the west and to the east. We felt very lucky to stay there. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable.

Everything you need can be found in this beautiful cottage. Beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity. Add to that the view of the Isle of Skye and the immediate vicinity of the great Glenelg Inn with suberp food. What more could you want?

Craigrowan Croft is a lovely place to stay - Grant and Laura seem to have thought of everything. Underfloor heating is great, really good shower and nice to try out a Jacuzzi bath. There is ancient oak woodland close by and some good local walks. We didn't have great weather but managed to fill our time in an enjoyable way. We went to the Ariundle Centre (close by) a couple of times and had nice lunch/evening meal.

Lovely wee cottage - it was super cosy. Check in instructions were really clear and easy to follow.

It’s difficult to say just a few words! Here’s the list: It’s a privilege to stay in this unique place, built with care for guests AND for the earth! A warm welcome, easy to find. The view is outstanding Great wee kitchen, bathroom, sitting room. The shower is lovely. A welcome blackcurrant cake slice! Lots of food basics provided. Private and warm and quiet - except for the birds singing Walk to the Pub in 20 minutes- it IS hilly - but good food and beer Really nice Wild swimming in the harbour at the pub. Nicola provides 3 big towels to cosy into afterwards! Only 35 minutes to Lochalsh, about 50 to Glen Elg wee ferry, 35 to Broadford. If you are older, the access is steep for cases etc. Take your time, and it’s fine! If we come back to Skye, we WILL come back to Nicola❤️

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt - ob Sonnenschein oder Regen, ob auf der Bank vor dem Haus oder vor dem Kamin - der Blick ist einfach grandios. Das Cottage war in live noch schöner als auf den Fotos.

We booked for a last minute get away and Tim & Judy’s place did not disappoint! The cottage was gorgeous and Tim was very helpful in getting us settled - peanuts were set right outside the kitchen window and we had red squirrels within minutes! Lots more bird watching was done throughout our stay :)) The fire and heaters kept us cosy, and the kitchen was well equipped. Will be returning soon hopefully!

Being a long time traveler I can honestly say that Alex’ place is THE most beautiful house I have ever been. We were looking forward to “coming home” after each day trip. Alex has been more than a host. It felt like having a friend on Skye. We will definitely be back - we loved it ◡̈

Het huisje ligt afgelegen op een prachtige plek met mooi uitzicht op zee, waarin op een avond enkele zeehonden nieuwsgierig rond zwommen. Het huisje is smaakvol ingericht en voorzien van alle comfort. Ik voelde mij er direct thuis. Het bed is comfortabel, de lakens zacht, de pannen zijn van goede kwaliteit, net als de keukenbenodigdheden. Een heerlijk huisje.

A gorgeous stay on the Isle of Skye! Close enough to Portree for easy access, but incredibly peaceful and tranquil thanks to its stunning location across the bay. Comfortable, spacious, with lovely walks right from the property. Truly a joy to spend a few days here.

The house is in a wonderful beautiful location. But be aware you have no local shop so you do need stock up in Fort William . We did know that because we were visiting for a Family wedding. The communication from Christina was perfect. We were a full 8 and there is plenty of room .

We had a perfect stay at Roughstones. A warm welcome from Catherine and the most delicious cake! The views were amazing and we enjoyed relaxing in our own private garden. Inside was spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished with comfortable seating and bed.The kitchen was very well equipped. Ideally located for us with visits to Scone Palace and Blair Castle.
