Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Cosy cottage in village

The Annexe is attached to our home and dates back to 1883. It has had various uses over the years; a sweet shop in the 1950s, a meat store for the local butcher, and a place where the milkboys used to shelter from the weather. After being in a state of disrepair for the last few decades, it is now a comfortable place for those who wish to stay in a quiet village location with good amenities, great walks on the door step, and access to central Glasgow and Edinburgh in under an hour.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds. There is a king size bed in the main bedroom and a sofa bed.

Mary Queen of Scot's chamber at Neidpath Castle is perhaps the most romantic place to stay in the Scottish Borders. Explore privately the whole castle and then retire to enjoy your suite rooms. The antique four poster bed, deep roll top bath and open fire evoke earlier times, but are truly comfortable and luxurious. An elegant table is set for breakfast. Peebles is 10 minutes walk away, with a host of shops and restaurants, as well as a museum and award winning chocolatier.

The suite consists of a double bedroom, spacious living area and shower room which is suitable for single or double use. You will also have access to the adjoining dining room which has a fridge, toaster and microwave oven.
