Perfect place arround the airport and Alajuela. I would come an other time.

I loved everything about Eden - the kind, warm delightful Enid who stayed up very late so I could check-in after flying from Australia, the delicious breakfast she served, the clean and comfortable room, the lush garden and refreshing pool. As an older woman travelling solo for a few days in a country where I do not speak the language, it was the perfect place to recover from jetlag. I felt safe and cared for. Carlos, the driver they recommended to me was an added bonus, as was meeting some of the other interesting guests.

Eden's place is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed. The gardens were breathtaking. I took my book out on the balcony, planning to read, but I couldn't take my eyes off the view and the many birds that visited. I swapped out my book for a pair of binoculars! The room was simple and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast in the morning was spectacular and included the fluffiest pancakes I've ever eaten (I don't usually care for pancakes— please DM me the recipe!), fresh fruit, a fruit smoothie, and steaming-hot coffee. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family! It's the perfect place to stay for a night (or more) when flying into or out of SJO. On a Sunday morning, it took us about 35 minutes to get there.

Stayed here for one night, since we had an early morning flight the next day. Katia was able to provide cheap transportation to the airport which was perfect.

This B&B is gorgeous!!! The room was comfortable with an in suite bathroom. There’s a terrace where you can relax that’s absolutely stunning. I ordered dinner the night I stayed and it was delicious, as was the breakfast (huge portions). Laurie was helpful in arranging airport transfer which was only a 15 minute drive from her place. It’s a quiet neighborhood and great place to stay if you want to be near the airport or away from the craziness of downtown San Jose.

Great place to stay. Nice location in Escazu. Very friendly staff. The apartment was large with lots of room and all we needed.

This place is great to if you plan on making the most out of your vacation. The room itself isn’t not much beyond a desk, beds, and bathroom, but the grounds are really pretty. The room was super clean and accurately pictured. The grounds were gorgeous with lots of plants, hammocks, and places for chilling. There was a cute juice bar as well on the property. There was quite a few rooms and each room had their own hammock outside as well. The hosts were super friendly and made the stay great. As for location, the hotel was easy to find but the area of Santa Ana did not have too much to do. We primarily stayed to hike the Hacienda La Chimba (which was amazing and super close!)

Great little inn in a cool neighborhood. We didn’t get to stay long because of an early flight, but regretted not spending a few days there just because the inn was so nice. Cool vibe, beautiful spaces and nice neighborhood to walk and go get dinner.

Pleasant, clean and good service. We were allowed to stay in the room until the afternoon at no extra charge. Thank you!

Laurie was a great host, very communicative ahead of my stay, and went out of her way to help me when something unplanned came up. Both Miriam and Laurie were welcoming and have created a very special place. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back next time I'm in San José. Highly recommend!

A great place to stay, conveniently located in Escazu. Clean, quiet at night and if you like pupusas, you’re in luck! The owners are from El Salvador so pupusas are included with breakfast! 5 stars!
