We had never stayed in an Assay Office before. I loved it! Mine history from floor to ceiling. Add a fire clay smelter in your "living room" and you are ingulfed in history. Worth every penny.

Truly loved this house, well worth the money and the drive. Don’t forget to check out the starry night over the desert, though it might be necessary to bring your own telescope if you want to take any closer looks. Comfortable spacious rooms and all sorts of cool wildlife viewable from the porch.

Exceeded our expectations, the host was friendly and welcoming. We would definitely recommend and will return.

Big house in an extremely peaceful area. N There is not too much to do in Goldfield, but it's still worth it just for the surroundings, also Tonopah is quite close. And watching the sunset from the porch is such an amazing experience!!

Mark is a wonderful host! The place is great and the breakfast is superb! Loved everything about it and will for sure be booking again.

What an outstanding place to stay! It was like an oasis in the desert. Wow! The house was decorated like a museum with tender loving care showing in every nook and cranny. The setting was beautifully serene with vast views of vineyards, farmlands, and mountains. Stunning! Mark's mother, Joyce, prepared a scrumptious breakfast with the best waffles and eggs to my liking, fruit, juice, and coffee...double wow! And the company of the family who has lived in the area for over 50 years was just an utter delight. I'm going back any chance I can. High recommendations without any reservations at all.

I stopped at the Rustic Cove Boutique on a drive north a few months ago, and after meeting Jeri and Adrianne I planned on staying in one of the cabins on my next trip south. If you’ve been in the store, you know the cabins are decorated to perfectly reflect the history of the area. I stayed in ‘The Crib’ and it was my Hygge dream. Although said to be haunted, the ghost of Jewel must have been ok with me (even tho she did lock me out at first) because I slept like a baby. I love the detail- old wood, metal and glass everywhere (the cabins are original), with plenty of plugs for electronics, AC, microwave and refrigerator. My own bathhouse was equipped with everything, the shower was excellent and I knew the shampoo, conditioner & body wash would smell wonderful 😊. Just ask and they will take you on a private tour of the haunted high school- a beautiful 1907 building being renovated by volunteers. Goldfield is a cool town, and this B&B is the best place in town!
