Cottage holiday rentals in Goleen

Had a lovely few days away staying in Kate's accommodation. She was very helpful and great to deal with. The accommodation was perfect for a quiet getaway and met all of our needs, would recommend to a friend.

We had a wonderful stay! The house was absolutely perfect for our family of two adults and three children — clean, modern, and very comfortable. Everything was so thoughtfully prepared, from the fresh scones on arrival to the local ice cream, milk, and butter, which were lovely touches that made us feel right at home. The hot tub was a real treat and the perfect way to relax after a busy day exploring the area. There’s so much to do nearby — our family especially enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking in Rosscarbery. Clonakilty is a charming town with great spots for shopping, coffee, and lunch, and the Clonakilty Pudding factory tour was a fun and unique experience. We’d definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped base to explore this beautiful part of Ireland.

Had such an amazing stay here. Beautiful home with loads of lovely touches like the candles. Was so cosy as well. Noreen was also so helpful with instructions and responded straight away to any questions we had. Wish we had booked to stay longer!

This was a magical stay for our family. Sarah was so friendly and responsive. The location of the property is one of the best I have experienced. Views were super, hot tub was a hugh bonus and we availed of it every day. You could walk for a swim, snorkel and to the pub for dinner and drinks and the locals were very friendly in the pub. Highly recommend and is my favourite airbnb so far.

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Tom & Judy's Beautiful home , spacious , relaxing , fantastic views which included grazing deetlrs in the front garden and foxes , rabbits , hares and a multi dude of birds to watch every evening . On arrival we were treated to home baked tarts and cakes in the fridge ( which were delicious) , treats left for the pup , clear instructions of how to use everything in the house and Tom had no bother answering us straight away via text when I was enquiring about something in particular . Just a 5 minute drive from bustling Kenmare and you are not far in any direction from some spectacular drives , we would highly recommend staying at Tom & Judys place , it is out of this world , thanks so much again , Mick & Irene .

Eileen and Robert were perfect hosts. They could not have been more helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The location was as excellent for touring and our hosts had given us excellent advise of where to visit. This was our first Air B@B and everything was perfect. We will definitely be going back in the future.

Had such a great time staying at the snug! The property was so cozy, perfect for a staycation around west cork! Very close to Clonakilty, which has everything you need! Frances was super friendly and helpful, would definitely be back🥰

Annette was a great host from start to finish. Very responsive, attentive, and a very friendly person in general! A welcome hamper for the first breakfast was there for us when we arrived, which was a lovely touch! The house was as described, very clean and cosy, and an excellent launch pad for travelling around the county. Has all the utensils you need for cooking too, which we made good use of. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants something private, has dogs, and wants to see the local sites. Thanks again, Annette!!!

Mairéad was the friendliest and most helpful host, giving us suggestions of what to see and do, even booking a table at a local restaurant for us. Even more special were the welcoming scones, butter and jam on the table and Mairéad turning up to greet us with an armful of beautiful, freshly cut garden flowers! Jenny the donkey and the local pusscat that joined us on our walks were an added bonus! All in all a lovely, homely cottage in a stunning location… highly recommend!

The most beautiful place and the most accommodating host we have stayed with in Ireland or the UK. They went the extra mile with small gestures to make us feel welcome. Can’t recommend highly enough.

If you want a quiet place and close to the ocean, this is it. A pleasant drive to Killorghlin for shops and pubs. We stayed 5 nights. It was restful. Anne greeted us when we arrived and when we left. A lovely graceful lady

We absolutely loved our stay at Hanna's Cottage. From the moment we walked in, it felt like home. The furniture and all the little touches really create an atmosphere, we found we did not want to leave and just enjoyed watching the view and the boats on the water. The cottage is beautiful and warm and cosy. We went for a lot of walks in the area, its really beautiful there and a lot of nice places to visit. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake! :)

Absolutely loved staying at Karin's place! The attention to detail was truly impressive - from the thoughtful welcome treats to the carefully curated amenities, it was clear that Karin had put a lot of love and care into creating a special experience for guests. The space itself was beautifully decorated and perfectly maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. What a fantastic spacious property and beautiful location. We had everything we needed for our 4 night stay, including the best weather. Catherine and Michael were very welcoming and it was lovely to share a bit of banter with Michael!

Completely a ten! We felt right at home, the situation is incredible, both to visit the surroundings and the peninsulas and to relax in the silence. We were greeted with great kindness, they even helped us with a problem with our bikes and they left us oil in spray!! No feedback on the breakfast basket they left us Definitely a place that I will recommend to friends and family

Stunning setting and ideal accommodation overlooking the mountains and adjacent Killarney National Park. Could not have asked for a better hostess in Eileen, who was always helpful and friendly and who pointed us in all the right directions for a perfect holiday. Throw in three gentle pet donkeys and a farm cat, who could ask for more? Bliss!

The location is beautiful, we loved how quiet it was at night. And still so close to the venue we had to go, and the town centre. We all loved being welcomed by the dogs! We think is the most complete place we stayed in Ireland so far, the kitchen had absolutely everything you could have forgotten to bring for cooking, plenty of tableware, and being honest the features and design I'd love in my own. The beds were comfortable, the wardrobe is huge. The bathroom has a beautiful design, and we didn't even unpacked our own shampoo and gel, as it had plenty of it all. The laundry room is very convenient, the house was warm, with good insulation. It was a very short, lovely stay, super comfortable and we hope it is available on our next visit to Killarney.

A favorite stay for sure!! Absolutely loved our time here! The pub was so close and was so nice to be able to walk to get some delicious food! Just all around beautiful and cozy at the same time! Would book here again in a heartbeat! Thank you for your help when asked and providing such a lovely place to stay!
