We loved our stay at FoundationEGG just outside of Thun! The farmhouse was clean, charming, and had stunning views of the Alps. It was the perfect base for hiking and exploring nearby Swiss towns. Ben and Tabea were wonderful hosts, and the stay offered an authentic and unforgettable Swiss countryside experience!

We were cross-country skiing and enjoyed the location right by the train station and nearby trails. The place is very nice and practical! In the large garage, in addition to the car, there is also space for skis and sleighs. For our 3 year old it also had many toys and books to discover... We will be happy to come back...

Our family called this the adventure house. The hike down and up is steep but doable. Best if you have backpacks. Marco was super responsive. View was spectacular. A stay to remember for sure!

We had the pleasure of spending a wonderful week at this place and felt comfortable from the first moment. Serge proved to be an outstanding host, not only extremely friendly and likeable, but also extraordinarily helpful and always committed to our well-being. Right after our arrival, Serge took the time for a detailed house tour and gave us valuable insider tips for the area. His recommendations for restaurants where to dine well, as well as for interesting activities and worth seeing excursions were helpful. The view from the property was breathtaking. A special highlight was the hot tub, which was just the place to relax after an eventful day. We are sure this was not our last visit with Serge and in his fantastic accommodation. We can fully recommend this place and Serge as a host!

It was just great! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but with a great view of the lake, this doesn't matter. The house was very clean and perfectly suitable.😀 Gladly again, thank you!

Gerti’s home is absolutely stunning with breathtaking views. The area is incredibly peaceful and with one short bus ride you can access restaurants, shops etc - everything you need. Gerti was so helpful and responsive throughout booking. We would definitely recommend!

A very nice accommodation, Markus is always available and very helpful. The accommodation is beautifully and stylishly furnished, the view is breathtaking. The location of the house is very great, as it gives you an even more beautiful and unforgettable view of Lake Maggiore and is in a very pleasantly quiet area. Markus is very nice and gladly helped us with the arrival and departure times, as we were on vacation with a baby; he had full understanding for this. In the accommodation itself, there were great magazines to read and a folder and several brochures that informed about the possible activities in the area. In addition, everything in the folder was well described (waste disposal, operating instructions, regulations for departure, etc.). We can only recommend the accommodation, thank you for the hospitality!

We loved this stay. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Spacious, private, away from crowds but within short drive from anything you need. Really enjoyed a cup of coffee on the terrace or balcony both morning and evening while looking at beautiful vista, even on rainy day. Icing on the cake - one morning saw a young deer right in the bushes under the terrace. Made our day. Marcus was very helpful - lives nearby and available very quickly if needed. We enjoyed talking with him and appreciated his suggestions as to local activities. Due to a little too cool for us weather we did not use a pool but it was there and very inviting - great view from it too. All in all lovely stay. Next time in the area, no question where we would try to book a stay.

Look no further for the best views of the mountains. Forget the hotels this spot is simply the best. Greti made us feel so special as well and had great recommendations. I would come back anytime !!

We had a very nice week in Oscar's villa. Everything was perfect, the pool and the view are really fantastic. Oscar was immediately on the spot with questions and immediately took care of everything. He was easily accessible at all times. Cleanliness was very good. Kitchen fully equipped. We will be back for sure. I can definitely recommend the place. Thank you for the wonderful time, Oscar! The house is located in a super location where there is no noise and no neighbors nearby. We spent 4 days in this house in the middle of April, the weather was fine, we served the table outside, walked a lot, bathed in a warm bathroom that stands in the courtyard. It snowed on the last day and it was beautiful too. Many thanks to the hosts who were always in touch and always promptly answered questions. I also want to note that the house is very functional and it is convenient that you can buy essential products on the spot.

Great mountains and forest surroundings at the entrance of the german-spoken Wallis/Valais area. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Very clean and well taken care of.
