Loft holiday rentals in Gothic Quarter, Ciutat Vella

we loved staying out of the tourist chaos. Enjoyed living in a genuine spanish area with barely any tourists. We took the bus D50. used Google translate to start conversations during daytime and had fun ,interesting experiences with locals. Always felt safe in this area, and on the bus. So many wonderful food markets and cafes. Charlie's place has a great vibe. Arty. very comfortable bed. Fast dishwasher. Everything you could need in the kitchen. We found printed info, in the desk drawer (when we were leaving) haha. Highly recommended. Thankyou Charlie.

This apartment was perfect. It was equipped with everything we could have possibly needed such as adapters, refreshments in the fridge. Jesus was very accommodating and considerate. He greeted us at the beginning of our stay and showed us around the neighbour and was there to say goodbye. Jesus definitely goes above and beyond to deliver great stays. We would definitely recommend!!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The home was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Our host, Jose Luis, was incredibly helpful—his suggestions really enhanced our experience, both in the city and in the local neighborhoods. Thanks to his insights, we were able to explore like locals. Definitely a place worth staying—highly recommended!

The house is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood.There is a convenience store next to it. I really like his design. I spent my afternoon on that balcony every day in good weather. It's really great to stay with them!

We were very satisfied all around and would book it again for such a weekend trip. Perfect for 10 people, as you also have several bathrooms! The location was also very good, you could reach everything by train and the train station for the train to the airport was only 5 minutes away. The communication and instructions were also perfect!

The apartment really served us 100%, near the metro, omnibus all kinds of transportation, quiet area with several gastronomic options, with a supermarket nearby for daily shopping.. The apartment is very good, comfortable, bright. The host was quick to respond to everything. I recommend it 100%. Thank you

Great place to stay for a trip to Barcelona. Really central location and a lot of places are walkable in 30 mins and it's also near two metro stations. The flat is big and spacious and the bedroom is peaceful at night. Light does get in by the glass bathroom door but wasn't an issue for us. There is also a small Juliette balcony which you can stand on but not really sit outside. I would highly recommend this flat for a couple or friends weekend in Barcelona.

Mireya was the kindest, loveliest host, and welcomed us so warmly for our stay, she gave us plenty of recommendations for the local area, and there was a map inside with markings of different recommendations. She allowed us to leave our suitcases with her after checkout for a bit before we went to the airport which was really kind of her. The place itself was extremely clean, perfect amenities, had everything we needed and was so ideal. The location was great also, there are multiple nearby metro stations giving access to all points of the city. A brilliant stay, with the loveliest host and would love to come again one day! x

The loft is in a great location and is quiet. We were successful purchasing a few groceries for preparing breakfast before heading out for the day. Nice to have a washer/dryer combination unit. Admittedly, we struggled knowing how to use the dry-only cycle but we made it work! Thank you for sharing your loft. Barcelona is beautiful with a lot to see and do.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jordi and Aina’s flat. It was easy to find, great central location, and perfect space for 4 of us. We had a little trouble figuring out the main entry door, but I messaged Aina and she responded promptly, helping us get into the building quickly and easily. We felt that the hosts were very responsive and attentive, and that everything we needed was available in the flat. Highly recommend staying here if you’re planning a trip to Barcelona!

Highly recommend this place as a base if visiting Barcelona. loads to do locally and easy access the whole of Barcelona via public transport or reasonably priced taxis

We had the best time staying at Sara’s apartment. It is so well located, right across the road from Fontana Metro and so many cool bars and restaurants within walking distance. Sara was a fantastic host. She met us at the apartment and then was always available for questions and recommendations. The terrace is fantastic for breakfast or an aperitif in the evening.. The second room is on the smaller side if you have two adult singles sharing… but our crowd were perfectly happy as you almost have your own wing of the apartment with the entrance and second bathroom. Overall we LOVED it! Thank you Sara x

Great stay!

Marc is a great host, we really enjoyed staying at his place! Early check-in, baby cot for our 6 months old, additional bedclothes were provided easily and without additional charges. The appartment is authentic and has its charm. The location in Poblenou is perfect - close to the sea, rambla de Poblenou, restaurants. Highly recommended and thank you Marc for your hospitality!

AMAZING. Could not be better. Loved everything about it, got a very kind early check-in, and just had an incredible stay altogether. Host is wonderful, place is wonderful, location is wonderful. Best stay we've had in Barcelona over 10+ years of visiting.

We had such a lovely stay at this AirB&B. it was easily accessible, big enough and at an amazing spot in Barcelona! Frank was so helpful with the AirB&B as well as tips for the neighbourhood. really friendly and quick to response! The AirB&B was shared but it didn't feel like we didn't have privacy! it had a super cute shower on the balcony which could cool you off on a hot summer day. we couldn't have wished for a better location or space for our vacation! really recommend, also if you're travelling for work or if you're a student!! Quiet and serene place. Place was spectacularly clean! There’s utensils, plates and cookware if you need to cook. AC IS AVAILABLE! life saver in times of heat. EDUARD is very responsive to all our questions and direct to his instructions. The area is surrounded by nature and away from the hustle of cities. And there are several outdoor activities that can be done. We commend how clean and fresh the place is!!

We went with my partner and our baby to a wedding and we were super comfortable in the apartment. And on top of that, less than 1 minute's walk from the wedding venue!

Very clean accommodation, very good quality bedding and linens. Éduard and Ms. are very welcoming, helpful and ready to please. In addition, we were able to exchange in French.
