Bad Grund, with its half-timbered houses typical of the Harz Mountains, is located in a valley surrounded by the slopes of the Harz Nature Park. The numerous hiking trails through the mixed forest, past breathtaking viewpoints, are not only an experience for the trained hiker. We rent a 06.2018 renovated house with about 90 m² living space in the small mountain town of Lautenthal.Here you will find a supermarket, a butcher, an outdoor swimming pool, the Schnitzelkönig and doctors in the village. If you want to leave your car in the double carport, you will find a bus stop about 100 m away. The place is well located between Goslar, Seesen and Clausthal Zellerfeld. From here you can do both hikes and day trips by bike or car.

Some time ago we turned the old horse stable into a "summer house " through some conversion measures. Something unique has been created on about 85 square meters. We hope that our future guests will feel very comfortable here. Take a look at the photos set and let them look at you. We only offer this cottage in the summer months, as HEATING in winter simply costs a lot of energy. A fireplace is available for the transitional period.

The house is located in a quiet cul-de-sac, but in close reach to university, UMG, Nord-Uni several research institutes. The 4 bedrooms comfortably sleep 8 people and is ideal for families or bigger groups. With an open dining- and living room and separate kitchen the house presents lots of living space.

In this accommodation there is the adventure playground directly adjacent to the cottage. The children can play carefree, while the family can enjoy the peace on the terrace. The nature outdoor swimming pool is located three minutes walk from the holiday home. The Harz is also within half an hour. Note: Pool & Sanua can be used from 12/1/25, currently this section is still under construction

Quiet room with private bathroom and entrance

The room has its own separate entrance and is located in the basement. A small hallway (which is only used by the guest) leads to the room. The room is connected to the private bathroom with shower. Optionally (for a fee), the sauna can be used. WiFi is available. A fridge and a microwave as well as a kettle are available for use. Bicycles and motorcycles can be safely stored in the garage.

A large walnut tree offers shade in summer to relax in a deck chair. The terrace invites you to wonderful barbecue evenings in the setting sun. The large beautiful living-dining area is accessible from the terrace.
