The main floor kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances including a double wall oven, electric stove, double door refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher. The dining room has seating for 6 and there’s also seating on the kitchen bar for 4. We are about 6 miles from Northeast Harbor and Southwest Harbor and the busy town of Bar Harbor. The home is located on a secluded woodsy area.

Cozy, fully converted historic barn within easy walking distance to the rocky shore of Bass Harbor, a busy lobstering port. An ideal, pet friendly, home base while exploring Acadia National Park. The Seamist is located on "the quietside" of the island. Six minutes from Southwest Harbor and thirty minutes to Bar Harbor, the Seamist also offers guests private hot tub access! Two guests maximum, not a suitable space for children. Please keep allergies in mind when booking. No smoking.

Jack is also a licensed boat Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and offers a discounted sail charter to our guests aboard our 36 ft. Catalina, Luna. Or hop on our lobster boat to watch the sunrise over Acadia!
