Cabin holiday rentals in Grand Union Canal

Amazing place! So unique. Will absolutely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay in the cabin with our two children (5 and 1), Stacey and Steve were fantastic hosts, always available to answer our questions and making us feel extremely welcome. We spent most of our time in the farm park which our children absolutely adored and there is easy access on foot from the cabin. The cabin is on a working farm, so reasonable restrictions of course apply on where you can go, but those were all clearly explained on arrival and we were given as much freedom as possible.

Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights at Alex and Liz’s lovely cabin. We had a wonderful stay and felt very relaxed. The hot tub was a fantastic addition to our stay. The cabin is beautiful and very clean. It’s tucked away next to a beautiful field and we felt very close to nature! We had a very peaceful time and was just what we needed to escape the busy city life! Alex and Liz are amazing hosts. They are very friendly, warm and welcoming. They respected our privacy but were incredibly quick to respond if we had any issues or problems. We couldn’t praise them enough! If you are thinking of staying at their cabin, we would strongly recommend you do! We would definitely love to return in the future!

We loved the location! Stunning views and a gated entrance giving a secure feel. Our cabin was lovely - well equipped with loads of extra goodies which was a lovely touch. Bath towels provided and separate towels for the hot tub. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t working for our visit however we were very quickly told that we could use the hot tub at the main residence, which actually had even better views so that wasn’t a problem and we didn’t feel overlooked or a bother. We loved having all the animals around the farm and grew especially fond of Lenny the cat who spent a lot of time with us. The hosts were incredibly friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Absolutely brilliant. Love golf or not this is a lovely place to stay with modern and pristine facilities. Really nice and friendly staff. The Lodge. The Lodge is absolutely lovely and actually has comfortable beds unlike others I have stayed in. The kitchen is fully kitted out and has everything you need. The Lodge is very spacious and has 2 toilets, one of which is an ensuite. The Hot tube was a great addition and wouldn’t go without now. The view looks over part of the course and is within 1-2 min walk of the club house and all the facilities, so if you fancy some golf, food or beer it’s a stone throw away. Cambridge centre is a 20/25min drive away so and Eber is like £20. Would definitely come again and will be back great value. Thank you Cambridge county club and the host of the lodge it was lovely.

We loved our stay at this beautiful lodge! The pictures really don’t do it justice, it’s just on the edge of the property so no one is overlooking you and it felt totally secluded and private. We also enjoyed a few good walks and yummy carvery Sunday lunch at the Foxton Locks pub.

Had a wonderful stay, great location, and the hot tub and lodge were exactly what we wanted. We will definitely look at staying there again in the future.

It's exactly as the pictures are - lovely and quiet. Will was a really good host, very responsive and was super helpful when setting up the hot tub etc. The Airbnb is really well located for what we wanted, we spent the day at Bletchley Park which was great. If you're staying for more than a couple of nights and have the capacity to I would pack some extra pillows and cushions. The bed is pretty good considering that it's the table too. The perfect place for a short stay away!

Our stay at the lodge was so relaxing mainly due to the quiet location but also because it is well appointed and comfortable. If you self cater it has all you require but there's a pub just down the road which unfortunately we didn't have time to explore. We'll be back next year!

Richard was vwry helpful, we were in London for a concert. I messaged to say we would be arriving rather late at night. He explqin3d that was fine and what to do in regards to parking. even left some milk for a well needed coffee when we did arrive. a very comfortable bed, very clean shower and kitchen area! We are staying again.

This is a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. We went by public transport so if you take that option bear in mind you will do a fair bit of walking to reach places, which is no bad thing when the surroundings are so pretty. We went to the Riverside Hub Saturday morning which is great for families (all ages) and in the afternoon spent some time on the decking relaxing by the river. The accommodation is actually even more impressive than the photos. The girls were in awe of the bathtub on feet! We had dinner at the Marseille in town, which had delicious food and excellent service. On Sunday we ate at the resort, which was also nice. Everyone at the resort was very friendly. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere. All in all a great break!

A Perfect Bank Holiday Escape – Tranquil, Welcoming, and Memorable We had a fantastic bank holiday weekend at Victoria and Daniel’s beautiful wooden cabin. From the start, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful - offering help with our bags, providing pool floats for our baby, and being on hand for anything we needed. The cabin itself was clean, cosy, and full of character, set in a peaceful area surrounded by nature. We loved the nearby canal walks and having a few great pubs just a short walk away. The garden was especially lovely, perfect for relaxing and soaking up the quiet surroundings. There were a couple of very minor things that could use a little touch-up, but nothing that took away from our experience. Overall, a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay – we’d happily return!

A clean and well equipped Cabin in a fantastic quiet location. Very accessible to Oxford. Would definitely return if available on my next visit to Oxford. The village is charming with a very inviting cosy pub

We had a lovely stay. Colin & Lian were great hosts. The EcoPod was excellent (we liked it so much we’ve bought a smaller one for our garden), opening out into a large garden which backed onto open countryside. Our dog very much enjoyed playing with Gigi. Highly recommended.

My partner, me and our dog stayed at Madeleines pool house, absolutely stunning and comfortable! So much space for our pooch. Madeleine and her husband were so welcoming and helpful throughout our visit! Thank you so much for your flexibility and responsiveness!

Better and bigger than the description, this large beautiful garden annex is furnished with lovely antiques and excellent kitchen and bathroom. There is outside space, a warm welcome and walks from the door. If you need to be in this area or want a quiet few days away, definitely stay here.

Helens lodge is always clean and well stocked with all you could need, even milk upon arrival. Helen is really helpful with any requests or assistance required. Definitely recommend to anyone.

Sada Countryside retreat was an amazing place and perfect stay for us. We were visiting London for a show and this was a perfect location 15 mins drive from edgeware where we caught a 20 min tube into the centre of London. Thank you for providing us a fan during the heat. We will hopefully see you again soon. Jess and Damon

Thank you for giving us the space we needed to relax . The Boat house is very spacious. I feel so relaxed which is just what I needed. Beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks, I would highly recommend this place and this lovely host to anyone

We had a lovely stay at the property, we were celebrating getting married and Chris left us a bottle of champagne for when we arrived which was so generous and much appreciated! Chris was a great host and responded to all my queries really quickly and helpfully! The property is in a lovely, quiet spot.

We were looking for somewhere peaceful to get away from busy lives and that is exactly what we got. Being able to make a coffee in the morning and sit outside next to the pond watching the wildlife, meeting the donkeys and short drives to nice surrounding areas really has helped to clear our heads. What can I say other than wow!.. from the very start I knew we were in for a great time.. clear and concise instructions from Jayne from the get go. The moment we arrived the property was beautiful and spotless, the added little extra's were such a thoughtful touch which really made us feel at home, Jaynes property had everything we could of possibly needed for our stay. The living room was huge! far bigger than expected yet so cozy on the evening especially with the fire place, and the fairy lights that sparkled on the veranda outside. Also Jayne was always very quick to respond to any questions we had. The area itself was very large and pretty with all the lakes that are around, my friends and I aged 27+ did some of the water sports and on land go karts which were on site which made for a great weekend full of activities that aren't just for kids. Overall great stay and would definitely be inclined to come again in the future..Thank you Jayne

Great little pad to use as a base whilst we visited various locations throughout Bucks. Walking distance to local pub, shops & food outlets which was perfect for when we’d had enough of driving. Henrietta was an excellent host, made us feel immediately welcome, highly recommend a stay here.
