Beautiful location for a lovely farm stay, great views from the hot tub! Loved being able to watch the cows and sheep. Claire was lovely and was ready to help at any moment despite us arriving so late at night! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

We all felt incredibly spoilt at tower cottage. The accommodation just had a wonderful, relaxed, comforting playful energy about it. It felt that every ornament or artifact that the cottage held had a story behind it and what a privilege for us. It was joyous. The grounds, well that was something else. Early morning Deer, the call of the chiff chaff, the fast low flight of the sparrow hawk through the woods, the soothing sound of the stream in an evening, a great crested grebe joining us for our Sunday morning dip and the joy of the marble run in the woods reminded us to freely play all weekend as a friendship group. Living next door, Ruth and mark were on hand if we needed help or advice without ever feeling like our time and space was compromised. Relaxed wholesome hosts who love where they live. Their kindness was infectious. We will definitely be back.

Charming and full of character, with fabulous pool and hot tub. Loved our stay with family. Granddaughter filled with excitement throughout our stay.

Hermitage cottage was in a beautiful situation right on the river Lune. The cottage was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the hot tub, the barbecue and the outdoor seating. We were extremely fortunate with the weather and really enjoyed our stay. Walks around the estate were lovely. It is a lovely base to explore the Forest of Bowland and surrounding areas.

Teapot Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. It was very well kitted out, decorated very nicely, and had lots of nice touches to make our stay even better. Lammisa was a great host - very responsive and friendly, and was happy to help whenever needed. There's great local amenities within walking distance, and several local villages and towns within a short drive, including Ennerdale Lake. The place was very comfortable, with plenty of seating indoor and out, with several comfy beds suitable for a group of adults. The only thing to be aware of is that the bedroom with the bunk beds has very little storage space, so if you're staying for a few days and have a large bag/suitcase - you'll need to find somewhere else to put it! Overall - we were all very pleased with this stay and we'd definitely book again in future.

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and were gutted to leave, everything was perfect. The hosts could not have done more for us! The cottage was absolutely gorgeous and more spacious than the pictures show, everything was immaculate. The hot tub was lovely, beds were comfy and the kitchen wad well stocked with cooking essentials (pans, utensils, cutlery, crockery, salt & pepper etc). We also had food from the heat to eat menu (steak pie) which was absolutely amazing, highly recommend!! We had a visit from Bubbles the cat (very friendly and very adorable), this was definitely a highlight. We would be more than happy to come again and highly recommend you do too!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage on Wastwater. The setting is stunning — right on the lake and surrounded by beautiful walking routes, perfect for exploring with our 18-month-old and dog. The cottage is tucked away on a peaceful farm with a great outdoor seating area to enjoy the views. It’s quite remote, with the nearest proper shop about 30 minutes away, but the nearby campsite shop (just half a mile down the road) had the essentials we needed. Other than that, everything was perfect. A truly relaxing break in a beautiful location — we’d definitely recommend it!

Coming from the States, we were looking for a quintessential Yorkshire Dales experience: someplace peaceful and quiet with beautiful scenery. This place fit the bill perfectly. The house was very comfortable and we especially loved the shower, beds and comforters. It really is self catered so be sure to bring any cooking staples you will need. Beautiful artwork throughout the house, and some great magazines to read on rainy days. We did have an issue on the second to last day we were there - the power went out for no apparent reason. Luckily we were able to isolate the problem circuit and get things partially working again. Claire was very helpful and arranged for showers we could use in the cabins at the main property down the road. All in all, it was a lovely location and we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely, cosy cottage. Very warm, despite the inclement weather. Under floor heating was lovely! We lit a fire one evening, although we didn't really need it, and it was great!

Beautiful cottage in a fab location. Great local pub with excellent chips, and easy to drive/walk to local attractions and walks. The cottage was charming, and very nicely decorated. We spent ages sitting in the lovely warm conservatory which was very welcome as the weather was very changeable. The bed was very comfortable and linen smelled lovely. Very quiet location and our little dog loved watching the birds in the garden.

Fabulous little find here. Very functional cottage with some fantastic views. Need to be able to drive but that’s not really a big issue. Very responsive and helpful hosts who made the stay very easy.

The cottage was stunning and in a beautiful setting, ideally located for getting to and around the lake. Highly recommend for a family get away for beautiful scenery and tranquility.

My son and son inlaw could not fault the cottage, perfectly situated, clean and cosy was dog friendly which is a definite must for us as a dog loving family, very peaceful but within walking distance to shops bars and restaurants, will most certainly return to this property at some point, proper little gem of a find thank you James you’ve been most helpful replying to our questions and always on hand to help ??

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Great to have a view of Coniston Lake. Cottage was extremely comfortable and homely & had everything needed for our stay. Martin’s instructions to find and access the cottage were very comprehensive which really helped. Martin also provided lots of information on places to eat and visit and responded well to any issues. Coniston is an ideal location to access the Lakes and would recommend the area and Martin’s cottage to others. Would love to return one day.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at your beautiful cottage. It’s got a lovely cottage feel with all the modern amenities. All the added touches added to its lovely charm. We wish we could have stayed longer as such a perfect location to explore the Lake District

Beautiful accommodation, spotlessly clean, lovely welcome basket with treats such a great welcome. Lucy and family very welcoming, showed us around and ensured we knew how everything worked. Lots of tourist leaflets and guides. Central to all local lakes, Hilltop etc stunning scenery on the doorstep. Loved our stay

Our break at Alhambra Cottage was just what we hoped for. The location to the town with amazing restaurants, cafes and shops close by was great and being so close to Derwent Water meant we barely had to use our car. We also had a lovely evening at the beautiful cinema just across the road. The cottage had everything we needed, and was very comfortable with clear information for appliances etc. we would definitely stay here again. Many thanks for a lovely stay.

Loved loved loved this stay!! It was so gorgeous and decorated so nicely. The place felt light and airy yet cost in the evenings. The heating was easy to work and the place warmed up very quickly even without the fire which is essential for my girlfriend because she’s always cold. The bed was super comfy and clean, and the robes were a really nice touch. Jennifer as a host was super friendly and responsive! We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The location was perfect and it was easy to walk to Cartmel village through the fields which cut out walking on the country roads (though they were generally not busy anyway!). Cartmel is a lovely place with nice cafes, pubs and some very fancy restaurants. Overall it was a very special stay for our anniversary - made even more special by the bubbly left for us when we arrived. We would recommend anyone looking for a quite and relaxing few days. I thought the pictures were nice when I booked but the place was beyond my expectations. It had everything you could wish for and looking out at the waterfall was just amazing. I have never seen anything quite as beautiful. The hosts were fab and were very welcoming and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. I had a wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

Wow Clare’s place where do we start!! Absolutely adored this gorgeous cottage, it was so cosy and welcoming, so quiet. The spaces are beautiful, the bathroom is amazing plus the living room, kitchen and bedroom are all amazing. It’s close to everything you’d need, including popular spots and supermarkets. We had such a lovely stay, and would 100% recommend it!

We stayed at Green Bank cottage and had a lovely week. The cottage was as we expected and felt really homely. Surrounded by beautiful scenery and the cottage lacked for nothing. Plenty of walks direct from the property and further afield. Tiggy is a friendly and responsive host.
