Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Grasmere

Everything was good. Close to everywhere. Free car Park. 2 bathroom, 2 bedrooms. Perfect 100% dark blinds on the windows, so you can sleep even during the Day.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, nice apartment everything we needed was provided and was kept to a high standard. The only let down was parking as we were the only place without a place provided. All in all a great experience.

Michael was the perfect host. Friendly and helpful. The cottage was so cosy and quaint. The surroundings beautiful and peaceful.

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

We had a fantastic stay at Niall and Marta’s beautiful 2-bedroom apartment in Windermere. The space was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable—perfect for a relaxing getaway. The decor was stylish and thoughtfully done, making it feel like a home away from home. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. You have free parking available and all restaurants/shops are at a walking distance. Highly recommend!

It was a lovely flat in a quiet location. Lots of walks direct from the door. Close to the centre and shops. Instructions for parking and access first class with photos.

What a fabulous few days me and my boys had ..I’ve never seen them so relaxed (ages 35 and 37 )x I think it was the lovely energy we felt in the beautiful Nest xx looking out over the river each morning set us up for the day. Would recommend 100% , we had everything we needed ..I couldn’t fault it ..the bedrooms immaculate and the beds /bedding were soft clean and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the gym and pool offer also x staff there were lovely at the Swan Hotel. Thank you xx

Beautiful location few minutes walk into the centre. Handbook in the apartment to describe things that may occur when at the house and how to resolve such as heating and hot water. Comfortable and clean bedding with space for belongings. Well suited and fitted kit h with all that you need. Bathroom has all necessary things needed. Lovely stay!

Our family of 4 had a perfect stay at Caxton Cottage! It was cosy, charming and extremely clean. Kay was super helpful, responsive and provided us with all the essential information we needed. Superb detached house, in quiet location with a cosy feel despite being very large. Amazing views and spacious gardens ideal for adventurous kids. We had a lovely time here with extended family and the hosts have thoughtfully included everything needed for an easy home from home feel. Would highly recommended staying here.

I can’t recommend Will and Giles’ place enough. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. The information sent prior to arrival was brilliant, the cottage was much bigger than we expected and it’s in an amazing location right by Coniston. The place was spotless and had some lovely touches. We will be back!

The Old Map Shop is a distinctive and quaint property set in a beautiful location. It is smart, compact and tidy with a well equipped kitchen and owners who clearly have a green agenda. There are several lovely walks nearby. The home EV charger was a big bonus for us. Carol was responsive to all queries in a timely manner. Many thanks for letting us stay.

Fantastic stay with dear friends in Ambleside. The house was beautiful, the beds were comfy, the hot tub was great, and it was only a two minute walk to the shops in Ambleside. Perfect weekend and we would all come back. Highly recommend.

It was perfect. I was worried about being so close to the local pub but I had nothing to worry. You couldn’t hear anything. It was so peaceful. I would totally recommend a stay at Rachael’s accommodation.

House was exactly as described and pristine. The kids loved their own space in the “loft”. Would be slightly weary of stairs with younger kids (especially if they walk at night). Kitchen had everything you need to make breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. The house was super cozy and the beds very comfortable. Fantastic location - very remote if that’s what you’re looking for. Perfect location for climbing Scafell although we didn’t attempt due to the weather. Fair drive on tricky fell roads if you’re looking to spend lots of time in Windermere / Ambleside / Keswick. But perfectly doable. Great pub down the road with play area and football for the kids. Would love to return / have stayed longer to walk around the area close to the house.

Great host who responded to any communication swiftly and reassuringly. Property is superb with individual querks which make it unique. Magical information given to us beforehand which was of great value. Thoroughly enjoyable stay.

The mill is stunning - beautifully restored and tastefully decorated with everything needed. A real home from home. Beds were comfortable and bathroom spotless. Walk into Kendal took around 20 mins with some good pubs and shops in the town. My daughters and I throughly enjoyed our stay… Some noise from children in lower apartment early in the mornings was the only slight negative… Highly recommend the mill.

lovely apartment which was well equipped and spotlessly clean. Great central location with fantastic public transport near by. Lottie had sent some reccomendations to visit and places to eat. Like most places Mondays are tricky finding a restaurant open. Everything was great and Lottie was a kind and responsive host who left us gorgeous local goodies to ear, much appreciated

What a lovely flat in sleepy Sedbergh! Great location and very peaceful. The flat is so comfortable with the softest carpets too. Lots of extra towels and bedding available. A very well equipped kitchen and a lovely feeling of calm as soon as we stepped inside. Everything was really well thought out and very clean. We stayed for two nights but will definitely stay again and for longer next time. Amy very kindly extended our check out time and always responded to questions quickly. I highly recommend visiting Sedbergh and staying in this stunning little flat!

We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

Nice place off the highway. All amenities are available. Good value for money. Easy to get to Carlisle city centre if you’re driving 9 minute drive.

We loved this flat and it's location. Decor is so homely and cute and the place smelt amazing! Loved the addition of the neon quote and the bed and sofa were comfortable. Close to Keswick and Buttermere which is why we chose this place but perfectly positioned just off the high street should you need anything. I paid for the parking online which was significantly cheaper than directly in the car park for some reason so might be worth checking that out before you park. Would definitely stay again!
