Our accommodation was absolutely amazing. Truly the description and photos do not really reflect the quality of the home.Of all the Airbnb’s we have stayed in over a thirty year period this would have to have been the most amazing. Of particular note was the communication and support that we received. We experienced a problem with the barbecue supplied and within minutes of reporting the issue we received a sincere apology with a technician to resolve the problem immediately. Never have we experienced this level of customer support and quality service.I can only recommend this location. The home is fantastic and the level of customer service is beyond amazing!A massive thank you to the team!

What an amazing place, we had such a fun time! The views are amazing, lovely plunge pool to cool off when it got hot overlooking the rainforest. Pool table and darts to keep us all entertained in the evening. Enough hammocks, swing chairs and couches for everyone to find a spot to relax. Plenty of wildlife about, lots of new critters us Melbournians had never seen before, our 7 year old loved it! We went and explored a few things while we were here but we could have honestly just as easily spent the entire time just enjoying ourselves at the property. Absolutely a little slice of paradise Dean has created, also props to him for his communication and making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves.

Was a wonderful and peaceful stay for some family time. The unique open plan, yet still private space allowed for everyone to spend time together, but also have alone time. The view over the lake was beautiful and Cassi was wonderful to communicate with.

Very nice relaxing quiet place. Julie looked after us well even providing 6 nice fresh eggs from her chickens. Would recommend.

This is our second visit to the Wallaby House and I don’t see it being our last! As a family with little ones- being able to see the ocean and the pool from the kitchen is a big win!! The fact that the house is spacious, with a big back yard- makes it perfect for the kids to play outside and not get cabin fever! My 19month old, 4 and 6 year olds all walked to the beach and back so the location is just perfect for us! Definitely a gem!

I can't thank our hosts enough, we had to change plans twice due to my own mistakes and they went out of their way to accommodate us, we are extremely happy and loved their beautiful home. I would absolutely recommend this outstanding accommodation for families and couples as it was just peaceful and relaxing. Thank you so very much.

First time in Mission Beach and didn’t want to leave. Deborah’s place was absolutely beautiful, we were also provided with fresh fruit and bread condiments and coffee on arrival. The location was perfect, car was not required. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! We will definitely be back.

Very clean, light filled apartment. 20 minutes walk from the centre of Cairns. Host was very communicative. Addition of washing machine and dryer was very helpful as we travelled with a small baby. Access to pools in the complex also great was to relax in the North Queensland heat!

We loved our stay. No mozzies, maybe cooler weather & Bronwen had mozzie coil burning outside. Fully self contained unit under house with own entrance. Fans and air con. Washing machine and dryer in unit Crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, kettle, toaster, ceramic hotplate, microwave and good sized mini fridge with decent freezer. TV/reliable free wifi. Carport outside unit, fits 4WD vehicles. Inviting concrete pool. Home in rain forest beside quiet main road. 5 min walk to Bingal Bay Cafe for dinner, path on opposite side of road. Take phone/torch to light path as dark in spots. Cafe licensed with fantastic food/options. Local caught fish delicious. Sticky date pudding to die for. Beautiful Bingal Bay beach a quick walk, gas BBQ, tables & toilet facilities. Norbet said has a stinger net in summer. Walked Bicton Hill lookout (close by) 2 hours round trip, some steep, great views. Chairs outside unit, relax & view rainforest Thank you for beers, bread and condiments. We will return

It had everything we needed for our stay. We also enjoyed one meal at the Ramada restaurant, as well as one evening swim which was very pleasant. Best to have a car to get around.

A relaxed atmosphere, loved the spa/pool. Very walkable area and nice and quiet.

We had a fabulous 3 night stay at Shan’s place, and wish we had booked longer! Shan provided easy to follow information, and everything was exactly as described. Extremely clean and comfortable! A lot more spacious than we expected, and my border collie had lots of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful breeze on the balcony..he was very happy! The rain head shower was amazing!! The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook or order in, with quality fittings. The location is perfect, and we felt very secure in this lovely building and surrounds. We had plenty of off street parking, which is a great help. We are definitely visiting again soon and highly recommend Shan’s place for a relaxing and comfy stay! Thanks Shan!

Four Winds are very nice and homey, and very clean and well maintained. Melissa is very kind and welcoming, and gave us many local tips of what to do around the area, and is quick to respond. She will do what she can to make you feel comfortable and happy. We can highly recommend this accommodation.

Absolutely Perfect Stay! I had an amazing time at this Airbnb – it was everything I hoped for and more. The place is private, peaceful, and beautifully set up. Leah was an incredible host – so warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely to deal with. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The space had everything you could need and then some! I honestly can’t wait to stay there again. Highly recommend!

I had a wonderful stay at Andrea’s apartment at 201 Lake Street, Cairns. The place was clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable—perfect for a relaxing visit. It had everything I needed for a great stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, a comfortable bed, and a modern bathroom. The building also had a pool and secure parking, which were great bonuses. The location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Esplanade, restaurants, shops, and the marina. Andrea was very easy to deal with—friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout the booking and stay. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Cairns.

Andrew’s apartment is amazing, and a great find. It is furnished modern and extremely clean, and has lots thoughtful extras in the kitchen and bathrooms. Any communications we had with Andrew were responded by him promptly. The location is quiet, yet very close to amenities. We would highly recommend this property, and certainly will look to rebook when we are back in Cairns.
