In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

In addition, the North Sea and the Baltic Sea are within easy reach. Whether Hansa Park, Heide Park or Legoland in Billund, they are always worth a trip from here. Our house has 4 bedrooms and an extra sofa bed. It can accommodate 6 - 8 people. Wi-Fi + Netflix provided. Terrace + outdoor fireplace.

The thatched cottage, built in the middle of the 19th century, it was owned by the Duke of Oldenburg until 25 years ago and is located on the edge of the Holstein Switzerland Nature Park on an idyllic property, surrounded by forest and a meadow. Neighbors are neither heard nor seen. The eastern boundary of the garden is bordered by a babbling brook. A play paradise for children.

Holtenauer Straße with shops, supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, cafés and bars is right around the corner. For safety, cameras are at the entrance. Herzlich willkommen in unserem gemütlichen Hygge Hus in der schönen hügeligen holsteinischen Schweiz. Unser Ferienhaus liegt in dem kleinen ruhigen Dorf Sasel umgeben von Feldern, Wiesen und Wäldern. Viele schöne Seen, Badestellen und Fahrradwege sind ganz in der Nähe und die hübschen Städte Malente, Plön, Eutin oder Lütjenburg sind in 10-20 Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Bis zur Ostsee sind es ca. 20 Minuten und ihr seid an den schönen Stränden der Hohwachter Bucht.

We live here as well in separate flat and are happy to help you with any assistance you require.

We rent a cozy, vacation cottage close to Lake Selent, in the middle of one of the most beautiful vacation regions of Schleswig-Holstein. The house was completely renovated in 2018 and is bright and modernly furnished. It is located in a large garden with an orchard and has its own terrace. It is only bathing area on the lake. 100 meters and 17 kilometers to the Baltic Sea.
