One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. This is a cozy cottage with a gentle contemporary feel. It has two en-suite bedrooms with have superking size beds which can be turned into single beds (let us know prior to your arrival). The kitchen, dining area and the living room are all open plan with a wood burning stove at its centre. The terrace is part of a small enclosed garden, sunny and sheltered from the wind. Castletoun Spa (hot tub,sauna) must be booked in advance for an exclusive use, subject to availablity (£30 per day).

Only 4 miles from Flodden battlefield, Kelso 10 miles Berwick 14 miles, Edinburgh less than an hour away. 2 Local pubs to chose from all within 5 minutes walk. The name Bothy means a refuge for travelers. The price includes airbnb's charges which I can do nothing about, we charge £70 per night the rest is airbnb commission.
