James was a incredible host! Very kind and gentle, gave me an incredible experience at his place. The place is in the best neighborhood of NYC. Restaurants, bars, nightlife, cityscapes and more. Few blocks from Highline Park. The apartment is very silent and perfect for a good night of sleeping. Really recomend.

We stayed here for over a month and loved every moment. The space is cosy as the name suggests, but despite its size it’s incredibly functional. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with plenty of storage space to unpack your things. Everything was spotless, and the kitchen was equipped with enough essentials for regular cooking. The floors are a bit uneven (as mentioned in other reviews) but that only adds to the character and charm of this beautiful old building. The location is amazing - just steps from everything in the West Village and Greenwich Village but tucked away in a semi-private mews. The hosts were fantastic - responsive, helpful, and accommodating. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it. Thank you!

Gil was an amazing host! Responsive: answered all my questions about the apt, the area, things to do. Place exceeded expectations. Decorated as shown. Feels bigger than its sq ft. Comfy at home feeling. Faces back courtyard so quiet and relaxing. Friendly helpful 24 hour doormen. Easy to use, inexpensive, in building laundry. Can't beat location. So many restaurants in walking distance, all great, all types of food and whatever environment you are looking for. Want to cook at home? Great grocery story around the block(elevator makes for easy carry-up)! Centrally located in West Village. 10-12 min walk to the Whitney, High Line, Chelsea, Union Square etc. The 1,2,3 subway literally out front door. 10 min to Penn St & Time sq. 25 min to Brooklyn etc. I recommend Gil's place to any one wanting to stay in nice apt, in a great area and with a great host! Looking forward to renting here again!
