Around the lake you can experience untouched nature. The Elster Cycle Trail connects Saxony and Thuringia along the reservoir dam. The town of Elsterberg with all shopping can be reached in 3 minutes driving.

In the middle of nature surrounded by the Franconian forest next to the Lichtenberg swimming lake and Höllental. Modern furnishings with satellite TV and fast Wi-Fi, 2 bedrooms, shared parking, pets welcome. We are the perfect starting point for hikes and excursions into nature. Our hostel Fuchs und Hase is located in Oberjugel, a scattered settlement belonging to Johanngeorgenstadt, directly on the border with the Czech Republic. At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. In winter, the Jugelloipe starts right behind the house with connection to the Kammloipe and Czech ski highway. Several ski slopes can be reached quickly by car. We are happy to provide tips.

Jsme Michaela a Jan a rádi Ti naše místo na pár dní propůjčíme. Budeš mít k dispozici celý prostor, užiješ si výhledy, klid a soukromí. Předáme Ti tipy na výlety, restaurace a další aktivity v okolí. Užít si u nás můžeš i koupací sud na terase, který je ovšem za příplatek.

The sleeping area for two people can be reached by a comfortable ladder staircase. There is a small wood stove that heats the hut, is used as a stove and spreads comfort. Direct parking on the property. There is another hut on the property, which also occasionally accommodates guests.

It´s an ideal start for walking, bicycle or skiing tours in the beautiful Ore Mountains.
