Family-friendly holiday rentals in Groningen

The stay at Wietske was above expectations: an extremely cozy house with plenty of space. The garden was a relief: lots of greenery, trees and shade: everything we needed. A hot tub is not our thing, but for those who like it: it is there. All in all: highly recommended.

We spent 4 nights at this place, and absolutely loved it! The location is in the country along a canal. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. What a gem! I highly recommended this place to others!

We stayed at Rob's house for a weekend with girlfriends. We had a fantastic time. It has it all and the terrain is huge. We would come back out. Communication with Rob was also incredibly nice and reliable. A thousand thanks for everything! 😊

Great place in a very quiet location The" whirlpool" outside was especially great In the evening, to relax after beautiful but strenuous cycling tours at least 36 degrees under the stars.

A lovely retreat surrounded by farm animals. Perfect to start/finish the first couple of legs from the Pieterpad.

For the 2nd lesson, been to the box. A beautiful place, wonderfully quiet. Ideal for us with our daughter. She can sleep well in her own room, while we have dined at the restaurant of the B&B.

It was really nice to be able to experience Lucy's life rhythm for a few days. Her lovely cottage, the beautiful ecological flower, vegetable garden and food forest. I liked that Lucy could tell me everything about the garden. Wake up to a beautiful view and the sound of so many birds. From the cottage I took beautiful walks and bike rides. A nice place to relax and unwind. Lucy, thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful place! I hope to stop by again.

We were with 8 women over the weekend in Henk's house and felt completely comfortable, as it is cozily furnished and very spacious. There were also several seating areas behind the house. Since we had 30 degrees, we did not use the beautiful sauna. The house is very quiet, a bit remote, which we liked.

This was the third time we were allowed to stay in the beautiful residence. This time, our (step)mother was with her dog. We once again enjoyed all the comforts of the stay (everything present) and the well-enclosed garden (for the dogs). Everything in the kitchen that we can use. A wonderful shower with good, radiant hot water. It is wonderful to walk into the beautiful nature reserve from the cottage. We were lucky with the weather, it was nice and sunny. So it was also pleasant to stay in the garden. Aaltje and her daughter were as always very hospitable and friendly and also helpful. We will certainly come back a fourth time (and more). I stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a nice weekend escape in the nature: best choice we could make! The hosts are super friendly and made us feel at home since the very first moment. The little house has everything you need, and more, to make it a very special place: the fireplace and the cd player with audio system were the highlights! We also enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommended!!

What a lovely wing of a beautiful, artfully decorated old house. We loved the out door kitchen BQ area and the lovely homemade rolls and marmalade for breakfast each morning with fresh coffee. Beautiful garden to explore and our dog was made very welcome. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful. Parking too! 😀
