Amazing place to stay for the legs Groningen - Zuidlaren and/or Zuidlaren - Rolde when hiking the Pieterpad (or just in general if you want to have an amazing tranquil stay in a beautiful garden oasis. The house has all the amenities one could wish for and an amazing bed to top it all of meaning you’ll be completely rejuvenated for the next leg of Pieterpad.

The tiny house was perfect for us. Quiet and private location on the property of Johanna and Erik. Large "garden" in front of the door, daily visit from the peacock and his peacock lady, the chickens and cats also like to look curiously. The equipment is functional and sufficient for a tiny house with 2 people. The contact with Johanna was warm, friendly and unobtrusive. You and Erik gave us tips for our trip to Groningen. The information about the project of the two (live music, theater, seminars, exhibitions...) was also exciting. On departure, Johanna gave us a mint plant from the garden to take with us. If we are in the area again, we will certainly stay there with the two (if something is free). I'd also like to go if there's an event there... Thank you, Johanna and Erik!

We feel so fortunate to have stayed at this sweet house for our first visit every to this part of the Netherlands. We enjoyed every room, including the sauna, and spent hours getting much needed rest on the spacious sofa. The little town is a joy to walk around. We rented bikes in nearby Baflo and made good use of them because of course the biking is excellent here. The local people were kind and patient with us. We highly recommend Baflo's bike shop and bakery. We also took advantage of Baflo's train station for trips to Winsum and Groningen. Annette's house is a dream. Thank you, Annette.

I stayed for 2 nights with a friend for a nice weekend escape in the nature: best choice we could make! The hosts are super friendly and made us feel at home since the very first moment. The little house has everything you need, and more, to make it a very special place: the fireplace and the cd player with audio system were the highlights! We also enjoyed the nature and peaceful surroundings. Definitely recommended!!

We spent 5 nights in the beautiful cottage, it is quietly located, you sleep wonderfully. Unfortunately, we did not meet the hosts, but the contact was very friendly, the check-in completely unproblematic. The living and dining area is bright and friendly thanks to the two patio doors and nice and cozy thanks to the underfloor heating. We had our bikes with us, which would not have been necessary, there are 2 good ones available. We will be happy to come back.

As always, everything is perfect. Small, cute cabin. Very pleasant for short vacations for two. Friendly landlady, quiet environment.

Very nice Tiny house, perfect for 2 of us. Also a wonderful place to sit outside with warm weather and the beach is within walking distance. To find the Tiny house on the complex use the directions and read the signs and you'll find it in no time!

Beautifully located in a quiet park in a wooded area. Because the garden was behind the location, you had a wonderful private space. Everything was neat and clean and it was nicely decorated. All the necessities were present and it was very nice that a number of basics were also there (toilet paper, sugar and salt, etc.) We enjoyed it and would go back in a minute!

We enjoyed our stay tremendously, always clear instructions, friendly and a very neat cottage. If you want to eat or go somewhere, there is always something to find at a good distance. Definitely recommended :)

a great accommodation located on a lake, just outside Groningen very comfortable! unfortunately, the bedroom has no possibility of blackout, but this is just a small drawback. thanks for a great stay!

The place was very cozy, location was also beautiful and peaceful, and the host was very friendly and hospitable, would definitely book here again!

We had a great weekend in the igloo. Great location, you could quickly get to Groningen by bus and the igloo itself was lovingly furnished and a space miracle!

I’ve had a very pleasant stay in Petra‘s and Fedde‘s accommodation. They were extremely helpful and gave me a very warm welcome. The garden is awesome and very spacious and you can see various animals passing by all day long.

Lovely place, nice terrace with views over the water, also very suitable for families with children. Friendly host, and clean and neat holiday stay.

We have spend 5 weeks in one of the small cottages and were more than satisfied. Marion was a very nice, kind and helpfull host, enjoyed her company very much. She kept asking if everithing is ok, was very proactive and also helped us in few casis. Thank you Marion one more time 🙂

Karin was very friendly!!! Upon arrival we received some refreshments and later oliebollen. The place itself was very cozy and clean and equipped with all necessities. The surroundings were wonderfully quiet and perfect for a relaxing stay. In addition, everything was easily accessible, such as a bakery and shops. An ideal place for anyone looking for tranquility, comfort and a welcoming atmosphere.

As a Dutch woman living in Switzerland, I found a very original accommodation with the Pipo caravan to visit my relatives and acquaintances in the area from there, sometimes by bike, sometimes by car, depending on the weather. And in the morning when the weather was nice, I liked to watch the birds from the jetty. In short: I felt comfortable there.

A perfect spot! Great accommodation, with parking and only a 10 minute walk to the city centre. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, with everything needed. Dieuwer was an excellent host and the bowl of fresh fruit, and stroopwafel, were a nice welcome. Would definitely recommend!
