Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Großheide

We felt very comfortable. The house has something embracing and yet offers enough space. One could say that the love of detail makes everything very lively. Everything very well and clean. The place was really great and especially the kitchen equipment was really great. I just have one note. The pictures state that the tourist tax is included in the price. I only learned three days before arrival that this is not the case, in my opinion this should have been better communicated or already communicated at the time of booking. But I would book the apartment again at any time and also with this rental, because I was very satisfied with everything else.

We were very satisfied and were very lucky with the weather, so we could also make many excursions to the surrounding area. Fortunately, we were also able to travel a day earlier without any problems. Great!

Very quiet location, somewhat remote, no footpaths. Spacious rooms with good amenities and a huge garden. Ideal for families with children and dogs. Everything is clean and maintained. Easy, flexible check-in. Hostess is always available. Absolutely recommended.

A wonderful girlfriend weekend at the end of Germany. Solitary location (that's how we wanted it) directly on the dike. You fall asleep to the croaking of a hundred frogs... pure nature. The house exudes East Frisian charm and has been lovingly and carefully renovated and furnished. The kitchen was well equipped, we cooked ourselves. Everything was no problem. Everything was available. Our hostess and her family were always there for us. No question, no wish was left unanswered. This is how it should be everywhere, so we are very happy to give the full score here and will certainly come back to cycling.

Nadine's apartment invites you to feel good. Furnished with great attention to detail and equipped with everything necessary, we were able to spend some quiet days by the North Sea. The apartment is very clean, modern and comfortable. We will be happy to come back!

Jan's beach house is really beautiful. The view from the bed to the lake at dawn alone is wonderful. But also a barbecue evening on the terrace, while the kids were digging in the private beach, was fantastic and a reason why we will come back. Jan always responded quickly and was very friendly. We felt very comfortable. Thanks for the thanks for this experience :)

The apartment is super nice and spotlessly clean – it has everything you need. The quiet location not only invites you to relax, but is also perfect for a stay with dogs. The contact with Anja was extremely friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommended!

The few days at Volker's were very nice. We felt right at home after we were very warmly welcomed by Volker. The apartment is the perfect place for a break, and we got numerous tips for beautiful excursions. Volker was always a helpful point of contact and impeccable host. My child was able to feed Volker's chickens and collect the eggs, we were allowed to help ourselves in the spacious herb garden and pancakes were fried for us by the common campfire. Thank you for the wonderful time! We will hopefully come back. :-)

We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment was easy to find, looked like the photos, and has a well equipped kitchen. It was nice and spacious and well suited for two couples and dog. Great communication from Andrea and Jörg. We would definitely recommend a stay here if you are looking in the area!

Beautiful and cozy place to stay! We felt completely comfortable. For noise-sensitive dogs, the scare gun on one of the neighboring fields might be challenging, but our dog quickly got along with it.

What a delight and privilege to be part of the high standards of the Cloppenburg familie and enjoy the authentic activities of being on a working farm. As a city slicker from 1.6 million person Calgary, Alberta, Canada I do not know which end of a chicken is up so watching “The Farm Channel “ every day from our lofty perch…a sunny south facing deck of our pristine and pragmatic apartment was much fun. As part of a 7 week self planned independent road cycling vacation in northern Germany and Northern Netherlands Nenndorf is a very strategic area for road cyclists…near the Nederlands border and in #1 rated ADFC…German Cycling Association Emsland area that hugs the Dutch border at the western extremities of Germany. The beautiful towns of nearby Papenburg, Leer and little Rhede add value and opportunities to our stay. There is a huge Sport 2000 store in Aschendorf…5km away and a very new Giant concept cycling store in Rhede. This location, apartment amenities and superb family…Wow!

Linda and Stephan's place was the ideal getaway for our family with young children. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in their beautiful, welcoming space. The garden was a true highlight, offering a peaceful retreat with plenty of room for the kids to play and explore safely. The toys and books provided kept our little ones entertained for hours, making it a stress-free experience for us. The kitchen was fantastic—spacious and fully equipped with everything we needed, including a professional coffee apparatus that made mornings a real treat. The hosts, Linda and Stephan, were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, ensuring our stay was comfortable and memorable. We highly recommend their place to families seeking a relaxing, kid-friendly retreat. We can't wait to return!

Beautiful old villa, generous space, nicely furnished apartment. Loved it. From there you could start some activities. Whether on foot, by bus (bus stop just a stone's throw away) or by private car. The folder prepared by Heino with the description of the history of the house, the possibilities for things to do in the area or even the tips on recommended restaurants was very helpful. We also had fantastic weather during the week, which rounded off the stay even more.

What a lovely house with top garden and facilities this is. Whatever you want to do... it's possible here. And everything is also very clearly stated. If you need to know something, you'll get a quick response to your question. Simply: great!

We had a lovely week with our two children (5 and 8 years) in the cottage on the Schildmeer. We were able to swim almost every day and otherwise explored the surroundings (Groningen, Appingedam, Delfzijl). The amenities are better than indicated: there is toilet paper, hand soap, hand and tea towels and a large selection of cooking utensils and spices in the kitchen. There is no oven, but a microwave where we prepared our casserole. We had a good time and say thank you very much!

The Reethaus is beautiful and decorated with a lot of love. The sleeping alcove directly under the roof is super cozy, we felt very comfortable. Everything you need is available in the apartment. Christopher is very warm and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful time, pure relaxation!

We had a wonderful stay at Margriet’s place. Everything was just as described — clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The apartment had a warm and welcoming feel to it, and we really appreciated the personal touches: Margriet had prepared fresh strawberries, a bottle of Prosecco, and a few local treats for us — such a kind gesture that made us feel at home right away. We really enjoyed spending time on the water — using the SUPs and kayaks was definitely one of the highlights. The area is calm and relaxing, a great spot to take a break from the everyday. One thing to be aware of: you can’t park directly at the accommodation, so you’ll need to carry your things a short distance. But there are pull carts available, which help a lot — and it’s absolutely manageable. Communication with Margriet was easy and pleasant throughout. We had a great time and would definitely come back. Thanks again for everything!
