The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Our houseboat is located on an offshoot of the Pikmeer with views over the water, the skyline of the water sports village of Grou, the Pikmeer and the island "de Burd". Enjoy the peace and privacy of the island with only a 5-minute boat ride to the cozy village of Grou.

Thanks to its large plot of nearly 431 square yards (400 square meters), this recreational home offers plenty of freedom, tranquility, and a terrace that is always in or out of the sun. A south-facing backyard with a sheltered terrace. French doors from the kitchen/dining area give access to the garden and terrace. In the shed, there are two bicycles that can be used for trips. The house and the furnishings are in good condition, new Swiss Sence Boxspring bed, comfortable sofa, dining table overlooking the garden.
