The village is located in the heart of the Frisian lake area, bustling with activity in the summer and has a great middle class. The flower garden(butterfly garden)of the cottage offers a lot of privacy and is located right under the corn mill ,t Lam. Come here relaxed with your sweetheart, away from the hustle and bustle, you will find peace and quiet here and you will wake up to the girls, blackbirds and sparrows.(sometimes Sunday of the church bells). This monumental cottage from the second half of the 18th century is located at the foot of the Sint Piter church in the water sports village of Grou. A stone's throw from the water, the ideal base for exploring Friesland. The cottage is equipped with all the comforts, the living room is a nice space with authentic elements, the large corner sofa and large dining table. The kitchen is fully equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, kettle and Nespresso machine. Upstairs, two bedrooms with a double bed.

Rural location on the Elfsteden route, on the edge of the Leeuwarder forest we rent out our "6 person coach house". The former coach house we have converted into a beautiful apartment and is next to our farm with private terrace on the south. Do you want to stay in a quiet environment where nature plays the main role then this apartment is for you. We, Ate and Gerda are owners since 2016 and have made our farm in Jelsum completely sustainable.

This comfortable holiday home is right on the Drents-Friese Wold. The house is in a park with no facilities/entrance gate or rules. The houses at the park are both permanently inhabited and rented for vacation. You can go hiking, biking and mountain biking in the area. Cities like Assen, Leeuwarden and Groningen are easily accessible. The house is fully and stylishly furnished and invites you to relax with a book by the fireplace.

Lovely house near Makkum and Wadden Sea

Just across the Afsluitdijk in the middle of the Frisian meadow, you will stay in a wonderful holiday home with a nice kitchen, 2 bedrooms and bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to enjoy long cocktails and tables. Inside or outside! The garden is a lovely place for children to play and you can enjoy the setting sun here until late. Our house is near the Makkum beach, forests, lakes and various Frisian "eleven cities".

Our house is a small but very nice house. From the jetty, get on the boat and sail towards the Frisian lakes. The house is very quiet and has all the comforts. You can stay with 4 people at the Wjitteringswei. The beds are lovely. They are now as a double bed but can also be set up as 4 single beds. WiFi is of course also there. And most importantly, a fantastic view. Check-in from 3pm and check-out until 12pm.

At the edge of National Park Weerribben-Wieden, lies our holiday home located on the meadows. Enjoy nature and tranquility, but also a perfect base for exploring the Weerribben-Wieden. The towns of Kalenberg, Blokzijl, Giethoorn and Dwarsgracht are within cycling distance. Or rent a boat to view the Weerribben from the water.
