House holiday rentals in Grožnjan

Best house I’ve ever stayed at, fantastic. We were a large group of 17 people (5 kids) which came together from different countries and cities to chill and have fun. House offered everything it described, unbelievable architecture, great amenities, very cozy and clean, easy to reach. Large kitchen, comfortable furniture, fantastic patio, workable grill. Surrounding is decent (dry dock for speedboats and yachts next to the house), but still very calm (if you don’t count the local chickens and dogs which are providing the natural environment). The doors and windows are, however, brilliantly insulated so basically you will hardly hear anything when in one of the rooms. Till was a great host, always responsive and helpful in all aspects! Gave us recommendations, helped us prepare everything upfront, kudos. We definitely hope to return to Stara Škola for another great experience.

We stayed here for one week with our 3 kids. The place is beautiful, very quiet yet close to Koper, a animated city (about 10 min by car). It's a good spot to start a trip to one of several beaches (20-30 min), famous caves (30-40 min) or Ljubljana (1h drive) or even hiking in the Triglav area (2h drive). The house itself is very nice, clean and offers everything you need. The kids especially loved the big pool which they could access whenever they wanted. Andreja is very kind and helpful and gave us a lot of great Tips. Thank you very much!

Klasse Unterkunft mitten im Grünen! Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, sehr gepflegt und sauber und bietet vielfältige Sport- und Entspannungsmöglichkeiten (auch für Kinder). Dazu zählen der heizbare Pool, eine Sauna, ein Whirl Pool, Tischtennis oder Fahrräder. Die sonstige Austattung des Hauses ist ebenfalls exzellent. Der grosszügige und gediegene Flair des Hauses trägt sehr zu einem entspannten Urlaubserlebnis bei. Der Gastgeber Ivan ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir können die Villa La Finka uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Wundervoller Aufenthalt – sehr empfehlenswert! Wir hatten einen großartigen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Die Villa war sehr sauber, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Lage war ideal – ruhig, aber dennoch in der Nähe von dem Meer Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und Gabi war jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würde definitiv wiederkommen!

Was für eine unglaublich schöne Villa! Bei weitem der beste Airbnb-Aufenthalt aller Zeiten. Es ist einfach wie zu Hause zu sein, ein schönes Haus in der Tat! Spektakuläre und funktionale Küche, Glas überall für einen herrlichen Blick auf den Pool und über die nahe gelegenen Hügel, vier super komfortable Schlafzimmer mit eigenem Bad, alle extrem sauber, alles einfach perfekt. Der beheizte Pool im späten Oktober ist ein Juwel. Am wichtigsten ist, Emma und Felix sind extrem freundlich, nett, flexibel und reagieren auf alle Kommunikation rechtzeitig. Mehr kann man sich nicht wünschen.

We had a wonderful holiday (and honeymoon!) at Casa Valla. We were so warmly welcomed and it was a such a pleasure to meet Matea, her father, Elvis and her mother. We were made to feel so at home and they even gave us kind and thoughtful honeymoon gifts! ❤️ The property is spotlessly clean, fresh and modern with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The beds are large & very comfortable, the shower was powerful with hot water at all times. We especially loved the spacious pool, barbeque area and the view over the fields to the hills. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 5-10 mins walk to either a large supermarket or up the hill to the old town. There were many walking routes and trails, so if you love walking this is a great spot. However, the thing that made Casa Valla most special for us was the hosts and their warmth, kindness and the real pride they take in their property. We would recommend Casa Valla anyone who wants a peaceful, relaxing holiday in a beautiful place ❤️

We would highly recommend staying at Matteo's place. It's a beautiful house that was so we'll equipped. The kitchen had all the utensils you could need and we cooked for 5 on a couple of nights with ease. Everything was spotlessly clean and there were some really nice touches, like slippers in the rooms and the welcome hamper was a real treat. All in all, a wonderful stay with a beautiful pool in a peaceful setting. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay next to Umag. The house is perfect and very well equipped. Everything you need to stay for great holidays. We were there for Istria by UTMB event and it was a perfect location for this.

Tanja e Darko ci hanno accolto in modo amorevole. Sorridenti e sempre disponibili, ci hanno dato tutte le indicazioni utili per esplorare la zona e ci hanno coccolato offrendoci prodotti del loro territorio e un’ottima merenda preparata da Tanja. L’alloggio è estremamente curato e pulitissimo, con aria condizionata, zanzariere, parcheggio e un piccolo giardino recintato perfetto per viaggiare col proprio cane. Situato in zona tranquilla e comoda a raggiungere il mare con una passeggiata di pochi minuti. Raggiungibili a piedi anche un minimarket, il panificio e un ristorante. Consigliatissimo! Noi non vediamo l’ora di tornare!!

We hebben heerlijke 2 weken gehad met ons gezin in dit huis. Super fijn weer gehad en alles wat je maar kan bedenken was aanwezig in het huis van Natalija en haar familie. Vlakbij Labin, ik denk een van de best gelegen plekken van Istrie! We hebben genoten van het strand in Rabac, goede restaurantjes vlakbij en van hieruit heel Istrie verkend, Rovinj, Pula enz. Ook de plitvicemeren gezien en dat is 5 uur op en neer maar de moeite waard. Hele fijne tijd gehad! Dankjewel!

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen Ferienhaus im wunderbaren Städtchen Bale sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Altstadthaus wurde geschmackvoll und hochwertig modernisiert, ist blitzsauber und komfortabel. Die Kommunikation mit Christine und vor Ort mit Iva war sehr angenehm und hilfreich. Um es kurz zu machen: Ein tolles Ferienhaus, das wir uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen können.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Alles tipptopp und wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Wir kommen gerne wieder. :)

Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen! Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt rundum genossen. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man für entspannte Urlaubstage braucht. Unser zweijähriger Sohn hatte besonders viel Freude – ob im Pool, mit den liebevoll bereitgestellten Spielsachen oder auf dem kleinen Spielplatz direkt nebenan mit Rutsche und Schaukel. Der Garten und Poolbereich sind wunderbar idyllisch und laden zum Verweilen ein. Wer die Strände der Umgebung erkunden möchte, sollte ein Auto einplanen – die ruhige Lage der Unterkunft ist perfekt zum Abschalten, aber nicht fußläufig zu den Küsten. Alles in allem: eine tolle Zeit in wunderschöner Umgebung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir waren Ende Mai mit unseren Hund für eine Woche an diesem schönen Ort. Bei der Ankunft liegt es etwas versteckt, trotz Navi aber die Fotos aus der Vogelperspektive von Ivan waren sehr hilfreich und wir haben es schnell gefunden. Die im hinteren Teil wohnende, liebe Inhaberin hat uns mit netten Gastgeschenken empfangen und wäre bei Fragen oder sonstigem Bedarf sofort da gewesen, war aber sonst sehr zurückhaltend. Das Haus hat eine gute Küche mit allem drum und dran und verfügt über ein neues und sehr schönes Bad. Ein herrlicher Garten und das Meer vor der Tür, was will man mehr. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Woche genossen.

Alles war super schön! Wir hatten einen ganz tollen, sehr erholsamen Urlaub! Der Empfang und auch der Abschied waren sehr herzlich. Die Unterkunft war blitzsauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, mit allem was man so benötigt. Absolute Privatsphäre mitten in einem Olivenhain und gut gelegen für Ausflüge an die Küste, nach Pula, Rovenji, Medulin usw. Auch Supermärkte und Restaurants sind ganz nah. (Tipp von uns: Steakrestaurant Šantamarina Premansturska Cesta 157, Pula – 5 Autominuten). Der beheizte Pool und die schöne überdachte Terrasse waren einfach klasse. Dino kam nach vorheriger Anmeldung zum Poolreinigen vorbei. Die Kommunikation war ausgezeichnet, Dino und seine Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben stets sehr schnell geantwortet. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter!!! Vielen lieben Dank noch mal, lieber Dino - auch an deine Frau, für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt :-)

If you are looking for a different rental, this is the one for you. It’s miles away from the standard ikea furnished rental, it has tons of charm (both from the period it was built and the care from the owner), it secluded, and it’s challenging your habits. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is great. The terrasse is awesome. Marina sent lots of instructions and was easy to reach. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at Villa Botanica. The house and the surrounding garden is very beautiful. You can definitly see and feel the love Piero and his family have for this place. It is indeed a little paradise.

The place is just perfect. It is just as described. We stayed here 7 adults and 1 child without any issues. I strongly recommended.

A Magical Stay in the Heart of Grožnjan! I've stayed at Airbnbs all over the world, and this place is easily one of the best I've experienced. The beautifully designed and decorated apartment, set in the heart of this enchanting medieval town, is truly magical and incredibly romantic. The upstairs bedroom, complete with a luxurious tub, feels like a dream. The attention to detail is remarkable—nothing about this space feels like a rental. It’s clear the owners spared no expense in making it special. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The communication was seamless, and the warm welcome, felt right at home. A bonus for those arriving by car: secured parking is available, which is a rare and much-appreciated feature in this area where parking can be tricky. It might sound like I’m gushing, but I promise I’m not exaggerating! I can’t imagine anyone giving this place less than 5 stars. Part of me wants to keep it a secret, but that wouldn't be fair, it deserves mention.

motovunest un charmant village medieval. la maison est tres belle et la vue du troisieme etage ou se trouve le salon et la cuisine est splendide. on est vraiment dans l’istrie verte. attention cepe dant la montee du parking jusqu’a la maison est tres tres pentue et la ruelle est pa ee. c’est tres sportif surtout avec une valise de 20kg! mais on esr recompense a l’arrivee. la chambre est spacieuse, le lit est top et la salle de bains tres avreable. il y a a solument tout ce qu’il faut. gel douche shpooing trousse de secours serviettes, mais aussi tout le necessaire dans la cuisine y compri une cafetiere italienne. nous sommes allees deguster des pâtes fraiches a la truffe dans le village avec vue sur la vallee, delicieux. la ville de rovi j en bord de mer est tres agreable, ai si que poreč .

We had a great time at Matijas place! The old house with all its paintings and historic items is really beautiful and very special. And at the same time very well equipped and comfortable. Groznjan is one of the most pittoresk and lovely places that we visited so far. The view in all directions on the landscape around Groznjan is amazing! Our kids felt like in a fantastic adventure event while staying there!

Egy nagyon csendes környéken lévő ház, nagy és szép kerttel. 3 gyerekkel voltunk, jól elfértünk, nagyon könnyű parkolni. Az én hibám, de nem ellenőriztem a foglalásnál, hogy a konyha egy külön lakrészben van. Ezt a részt a házigazdák is használják, számomra nem voltak pontosak a szabályok, hogy mi mit és hogyan használhatunk a konyhában -ami egyébként tökéletesen felszerelt. Bár Bojan írta, hogy nyugodtan használjunk mindent, szóval ez végül megoldódott. Mi kerékpárral fedeztük fel a szigetet, ehhez tökéletes elhelyezkedésű a ház. Nagy bevásárlóközpont kb 500-700m távolságban.

Villa Motovun is one of the most beautiful houses we’ve stayed in. The house has been renovated with such care to detail, it has kept the traditional character but is completely modernised with all amenities you would need. We loved the colour schemes, the materials used. It was so comfortable, with many seating areas, very comfortable, large beds (super important!), every room with en-suite bathroom. The views from the terrace of the Mirna valley and Groznjan in the distance are stunning. We loved having the little heated pool, the sauna and the pool table. The local wine ‘mini bar’ was also nice and we could help ourselves to a bottle of local Malvasia or Teran. All in all a gem in a beautiful medieval hilltop town, walkable to some really good restaurants serving amongst other things, local homemade pasta with truffles, or wild asparagus in the spring. Thank you Zeljko for your hospitality. We hope to be back again soon.

A grand property stretching over four floors. Rooms were spacious and well furnished. A beautiful garden and terrace equipped with a state of the art BBQ and pizza oven. Bathrooms were a particular feature of this house. Overall a well equipped kitchen. The house lies within the traffic free zone of the impressive hilltop village of Motovun but parking nearby was never a problem. We enjoyed a great week in this house with its easy access to numerous walking routes in a quiet, unspoiled part of the world. Our hosts were friendly and responsive to our needs.
