Mansion holiday rentals in Guanacaste Province

John and Carla were wonderful hosts before we even arrived. My family and I were receiving information and communication was clear on how to get to the house, what was included, and recommendations for the area. The house was absolutely beautiful, very peaceful, rooms were spotless, and we were welcomed with open arms from both Gerardo and Elieth. Gerardo and Elieth could not have been more welcoming and friendly. They both made sure we had everything we needed, laundry was done, and the house was always spotless. Elieth made us a wonderful breakfast each morning and we paid extra to have her cook dinner one night for us (she made a local Costa Rican dish with both vegetarian options and beef options for a very reasonable price- $80 for 5 people). Gerardo always made sure the outside steps were clean and dry so no one slipped. Neither spoke English but we had a great time learning Spanish and had no issues communicating with either of them. I cannot recommend this home enough!!

The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the whole house including Infiniti pool were so inviting we didn’t want to leave the house. Nice breeze most days as well. Ricardo was great at helping us arrange outings, including transportation. A car could be helpful to get around but we had a great local company that was able to take us everywhere we needed to go at a reasonable rate. The rain forest was a doable trip and there are numerous beaches within 15 minutes ride of the house. Loved our stay! It was also amazing to have breakfast included & prepared every morning and affordable dinners prepared at night as well.

From the moment we booked, they were proactive in ensuring a seamless experience. They created a group chat for easy communication, responding to every question quickly and efficiently. They were also flexible with our check-in time, which made our arrival stress-free. Their local recommendations were spot on, but the real highlight was the private chef they arranged for us—an unforgettable dining experience! The house itself was everything we hoped for—modern, spotless, well-equipped, and in a prime location with amazing views of Playa del Coco. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica. What an amazing-upscale property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Our family of 4 stayed here and couldn't have been happier with the property, service, etc. One note, would highly recommend having a car rental to get around as its a private community tucked away on the side of a mountain with amazing views. Highly recommend this place to anyone.

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.

Great views. The top of the world pool within the community has unbelievable views at sunset. You’ll need to drive a little ways to get to many of the beaches but there are lots of options. House was comfortable and worked great for large group.

Calma house is everything and more! Our families absolutely loved our time here. Walkable to the beach, amazing restaurants, and great shopping. Really was fun for the whole family. We felt lucky to score a great run of surf, but I suspect this was a common occurrence for Playa Guiones. The adults, teenagers, and kids spent all day in the surf. We rode ATVs to some neighboring towns and enjoyed having a personal chef for a few meals at the house. Just an amazing experience. Thank you to Rick and the crew that took such great care of our group in Costa Rica. We will be back, hopefully soon.

This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed at! I was traveling with my elderly parents and two kids (1 yr and 3yr) . The house was adorable, great art , comfortable sitting areas, the kitchen was well stocked, everyone had plenty of space. My parents stayed upstairs so could escape to quiet from kids! There were toys, books, cribs, high chairs, even floaties for the pool! When traveling with kids this is a huge plus to not have to pack these items! Very quiet neighborhood and really enjoyed hanging on the back deck! We walked to beach and restaurants with both kids and my parents no problem! Plenty of towels , and beach chairs! Very clean and Sebastian was super responsive and accommodating, we can’t wait to come back ! I would give 10 stars !! 🌟🌟🌟

As a scuba diver this is THE place. Beachfront, accesible price, ideal for large groups as there are lots of beds. Walkable to restaurants nearby. Good internet, AC, web equipped kitchen. Juan Carlos was responsive at all times and made us feel like home. Extra points: there’s a beautiful brown dog watching the property

Perfect accommodation to enjoy with family or a group of friends, each room with its own bathroom, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the amenities you need to relax. It was a great find and I will definitely return!

Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect! I loved cooking in the well equipped kitchen while the kids swam in the pool or hung out in the rooms. The house felt like my home away from home! All of the kitchen gadgets were of high quality I even took note of some to purchase myself. Please note that there is a lot of bugs in Costa Rica and they always get in the houses, no matter what! We stayed at 2 airbnbs in CR and we had the same issue in both, it is hard to keep critters out! Just embrace it! Pura Vida!

I booked this for my friends bachelorette and it was fantastic. Every question we had was answered right away. They even helped us book activities while we were there. It was a 10/10 experience and would definitely stay again :)

Our two-night stay was absolutely magical! The house is such a happy space with plenty of natural lighting in every corner. It served as both the ideal launching pad for our adventures and a blissful sanctuary during those hot afternoon hours when a siesta became essential. The backyard was an oasis with beautiful almond trees providing shade while we lounged in the hammock. There's a lot at home to keep everyone busy - board games, toys and puzzles. But most importantly, the location was perfect. We visited 3 wonderful beaches during our stay here, all within a short drive. Several restaurants and cafes nearby too. It took us 1.5 hours to drive to Liberia airport from here, so that was another plus. We'd recommend staying here if you are visiting the area. There is something for everyone!

Words cannot describe Gabby’s house, it was AMAZING! For prior vacations, we have stayed in houses in Playa Carrillo, Samara, and Quepos and Casa Del Sol by-far tops ALL of those houses. From the million dollar view, to the quality of the build/house, to the AWESOME DECOR, to the on-site hosts (Henry and Zeidy), ALL of it was top notch! When you’re in the backyard/in the pool, of course you feel like you’re at the beach, but that continues inside with all of the homey beach house decor! And did I mention the AC??? Ice cold, perfect for coming in from a long day fishing or beach! Next mention is Henry and Zeidy, UNBELIEVABLY welcoming and attentive, yet they know how to respect privacy. If you’ve never stayed at a house with daily cleaning, it’s a GAME CHANGER. Any issue or request, taken care of immediately. And not to mention Zeidy’s cooking! We had 3 lunches and 2 dinners prepared by Zeidy, simply delicious! We are even talking about booking again during the dry season!

Staying at Rancho De Linda was an unforgettable experience. Nestled in the lush Costa Rican jungle on the beach, it offers the perfect blend of natural charm to fully immerse yourself in the local ecosystem. The property is surrounded by vibrant wildlife — from colorful frogs, friendly iguanas, beautiful butterfly’s, hermit crabs and chirping birds. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean are mesmerizing — making it a true ecological retreat. Douglas and Irena were delightful hosts. We enjoyed visits from their sweet pup Bambi and loved the availability of the housekeeper. The place is very clean and well taken care of. We loved our Yoga class Irena taught under the palapa and enjoyed the delicious cooking of two local chefs. We drove into Tamarindo for the day and visited the Diamanté Eco Adventure Park for a thrilling zip line. Ramona is the most outstanding host I have ever encountered while using Airbnb. This trip was to celebrate a birthday and our stay was nothing short of perfect. Ramona was so responsive and checked in on us via chat throughout the stay to ensure we had a very smooth stay. Her home is just breathtaking and her assistance with getting my itinerary together which included a private chef, transportation, and excursions in such a short timeframe, I was speechless!! This place was pure magic. Close to playa pelada and some great restaurants and the little bodega store. Our two families loved the separate living spaces that were just interactive enough. The concierge service was a great help in getting local recommendations and booking excursions. Would definitely recommend.

Eugenia's home was amazing. We didn't want to leave. Perfect place for family. Just be sure to have an appropriate vehicle to get around. The roads are tricky

Booked Casa Lulu for our family vacation. It was perfect. Everyone had their own space, and there were also accommodations for our one year old. We loved having the privacy of our own place but also close to everything. The pool and backyard were great. Just beware of bugs and pack your bug spray (normal for Costa Rica).
