Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Guanacaste Province

The view is beautiful, the house is large and fit 10 of us comfortably! Lots of shops just down the street, many options for groceries and local food as well. Must have a car to get around, as this house is at the top of a mountain. We enjoyed our time here and would return again! Our host Alex was very responsive throughout the 12 days we here. If something was wrong he sent someone to fix it immediately. The pool was cleaned twice and the grounds were landscaped twice as well during our time. The house is equipped with all linens needed, extra beach towels, toiletries and all cooking supplies we needed to make Christmas Dinner and more.

We had the best time! We had a few small plumbing issues, Joel was immediately responsive and problems were solved within an hour. Restaurants: Rustico, Rural (Tamarindo), Lola’s. Beaches: playa Flamingo & Playa Avellana were our favorites. House is super family friendly with the open concept.

If you find yourself in Puntarenas and have a taste for history and true hospitality, Casa Fait is the place to go. The house itself is beautifully and carefully restored to it’s early 20th century splendour, which is completely surreal given today’s reality of the fisherman town. The hosts are beyond welcoming and shared a lot of stories, recommendations, anecdotes and wisdom. It has been a great experience on our journey through Costa Rica.

This place was absolutely flawless. The beauty of the views, the pools, the shuttles were perfect! We cannot say enough kind words about his service and the home. His communication is amazing. He even gave us a wonderful recommendation for snorkeling and we had a blast.

We had a lovely stay at the Colorado Guesthouse. Plenty of room for our family of 4 to spread out a little. The covered deck was spectacular to sit and watch the birds and the hot tub was such a lovely addition. Having access to a washer and dryer was so helpful. The guesthouse is in a great location close to good restaurants, coffee and local attractions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful week with my family of four! Loved Punta Islita—beautiful beach and resort- amenities available to us! So much wildlife around! We actually loved the separate master bedroom, worked perfectly for us. The pool was exquisite! Highly recommend!

A beautiful place with incredible views and surroundings. The sunsets in the evening were spectacular. We were very lucky to have a very loud family of howler monkeys on the property that we saw in the trees a few days of our stay. The house was clean and comfortable and each bedroom had air-conditioning which is definitely needed. We stayed at the house during the Olympics and on day 4 the tv stopped working completely. Mariam was amazing and brought us another tv within hours. The location is isolated from the main town Nosara and the track up the mountain is very bumpy and not paved at all; you definitely need a 4x4. There were thunder-storms every day early evening which were amazing to watch. The concierge service was first class. Miriam organised a chef to celebrate our friends 50th (the food was incredible) and gave us lots of recommendations for excursions. Would highly recommend.

The outdoor space in the house is absolutely wonderful! Spent a lot of time in the pool, hot tub, and lounging in the hammock. We had some difficultly finding the place and Jennifer was very helpful. We used Google Maps with no problem in La Fortuna, but I would use Waze here. The house has a ton of security features which made us feel super safe. It’s a great location to the nearby beaches and the grocery store. The house could use a little TLC (some kitchen cabinets falling apart, doors that don’t latch well, toilet paper holders that were loose, and could use a paint job), but none of these things took away from our wonderful time at this house and we would definitely return. Pura Vida!

Cassie was hands down the best Airbnb host we've had! She was the most thoughtful and nicest host, sharing a wealth of information in the welcome letter prior to our arrival. In the letter, her and her husband thought of everything to include to make it such a welcome and comfortable stay! Their home is so beautiful and we are so thankful for them to share it with us. What stood out was Cassie's quick responses and going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay, even before we asked! For example, Cassie knew that we were traveling with our toddler and asked if there was anything else she could provide for our child. She arranged for a highchair to be delivered which was so helpful! She was so accommodating and the best host in the most beautiful home.

Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is so nice! Very secluded and peaceful yet only 5 minutes from town with the golf cart (big hills to get there so you need some type of transportation!). Communication with Marco and Todd was above and beyond, they made sure we had everything we needed. We hired the private chef for one night and it was amazing! Really loved our stay ♥️

Casa Serendipity was pure magic for our family. As a wellness practitioner and mama of two little ones, I’ve stayed in many places—but this was truly a sanctuary. Mariela is the most incredible host—like a 24/7 concierge angel. From airport pick-up, car rental, grocery tips, to curated local gems—she thought of everything. The home is stunning, spacious, and incredibly private, yet perfectly located to easily explore the best beaches, restaurants, and adventures. We woke to birdsong, made meals in the outdoor kitchen, lounged by the pool, and even picked fresh mangoes. It was peaceful, secure, and deeply nourishing. Every detail supported ease and connection. After full days exploring, it felt like coming home to serenity. I would stay here every time—we’re already dreaming of our return. Mariela, thank you for creating this heart-centered haven. Our whole family had the best vacation. You’ve set the bar for hospitality, and we are forever grateful. See you soon. Pura Vida!

Hotel Balu was so lovely. We wish we had more time there to enjoy the casita’s space. The coffee machine was amazing and so were the outdoor amenities. Absolutely recommend!

We had a great time on the outskirts of Monteverde in this home. close enough to get to the attractions too. TV was good with apps available netflix etc. for when it was chucking it down with rain! can get a bit loud in the heavy storms with rain on the roof. The place was big enough to feel like a little home in the mountains. Clean and well thought out. Hot tub was a bonus! Thank you for having us.

Fantastic beach compound. Christelle's house is the very northernmost on Brasilita where its quiet. House is directly across the road (as close as you can get) from the beach. This is a new house with all the conveniences you would expect on a higher end listing. The outdoor is exactly as pictured and makes it easy to eat outdoors and lounge at the pool. Good security with locking gates and an electrical fence on the wall and an alarm system for the house. Just a great spot if you want to get on and off the beach fast and not be surrounded by lots of people yet be very close to some of the best restaurants in Guanacaste.

We had a wonderful time! The place was exactly as pictured, clean and had great views! The activities and pool were only a short walk. Lots of nearby restaurants and shopping. I would absolutely recommend staying at Stephen’s place!

Remarkable, immaculately designed and kept luxury villa. A little bit off the beaten path. Nearest airport being Liberia (LIR), 2 hrs away and you’ll need a 4x4 to get there. Having said that, this place is absolutely a hidden gem you won’t want to leave in a hurry. Note: it is a remarkably large property and we could easily have fit another family of 5 (alongside us) and not seen each other for days. Hosts were always responsive and communicative and made our stay memorable and easy.

I’m already missing this spot. Love the view into the rainforest. We saw lots of toucans, hummingbirds, fireflies, butterflies and more. We were even woken up our last morning by howler monkeys - didn’t see them, but we could hear them. Would 100% stay here again.

This was the perfect oasis we didn’t realize we needed until we were there. The accommodations were lovely & comfortable, but the property was bird-watching heaven for us!! (We also saw cows, wild hogs, steer, skinks/lizards, and friendly neighborhood dogs and cats among other animals). It was awesome!! The bed was comfortable, ac perfect & shower was heavenly! We also enjoyed the hot tub & picnic table several times & they were great amenities. The property was easy to find, clean, well appointed, we felt safe & absolutely loved our stay!! There are several good restaurants/dining options nearby as well. We’d stay again in a heart beat! Thanks for letting us stay, Wendy!!

The place is a little scary to get to. Youre on top of a cliff/ hill. It makes sense given the view. Youre definitely paying for the view. It's breath taking. Jacuzzi never really got hot for me but he did warn me that he had just turned on prior to my arrival. I only stayed 1 night. The roof is a typical metal costa rican roof so when it rained it was loud but it put me right to sleep. I accidentally let critters (butterflies and moths) into the house as the sliding door was left open but there were no bugs prior to that. Bed was comfy and the shower pressure was nice and hot. Would recommended.

Beautiful and cozy place. Keep in mind that you are surrounded by nature and there are insects almost all the time! But in my case, it wasn't a bad thing! I loved it!

I had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin in Monteverde. Alexander, the host, was incredibly responsive, helpful, and understanding, making me feel right at home. The cabin was spotless, and the seclusion made it feel like a peaceful retreat. The home was pristine, and the surroundings were just breathtaking. The sunsets and sunrises were absolutely stunning, and we couldn't have asked for a better environment to relax and unwind. I can't rave about this place enough. Highly recommended!

At the beginning we arrived at night and honestly I kind of freaked out because it was in the middle of the forest completely dark but in the morning when I waked up everything looked so pretty, we had the chance to see an armadillo, rabbits and a lot of beetles. The chalet was really clean and cozy. If you have the chance to stay there for a night do it you will love the sunset from the bedroom.

This cabin is so special. Relaxation just takes over your body from the minute you enter the property. The caretaker and his wife are amazing, too. They really look out for you and make sure you have all that you need. Definitely take Louisa up on preparing your meals- the food is delicious 😋

We had an excellent time staying at Amalú- the cabin was very nicely decorated and had incredible views. The bed was super comfortable and the outdoor area was great. As well as this, Andrés provided us with snacks and food for breakfast which was a lovely touch. They were always very quick to respond to any questions we had which was appreciated. Would definitely recommend staying here!
