As a villa in the mountains, it is quiet and parties are allowed. Barbecue equipment is also available, so you can enjoy a full-fledged barbecue. (Barbecue grill and charcoal are provided. We only rent for dates other than family use during long periods of overseas travel, so we always maintain a clean condition. Near the accommodation, where the hanoks are clustered, you can take a walk to Gyeongpo Lake and the low-lying area, which is quiet but a 1-minute walk away, and there are tofu restaurants and wine bar coffee shops nearby. This space is carefully prepared with the guest's heart, knowing how important the accommodation is in a trip.

It is a guest house in a quiet rural village, 15 minutes by car to the Gangneung sea. The buildings are connected, but the entrance, toilet, and cooking facilities are separate, allowing for an independent stay. Free parking is available in the yard, and there is an outdoor dining area, so you can experience a barbecue with an electric grill (I don't use charcoal/bonfires due to the risk of wildfires). If you come with children, you can also do seasonal activities with owners like grandparents and grandparents in the countryside. The room is not wide, so we recommend a maximum of 2 adults and 2 children. It is small for 3 or more adults. Breakfast with a home-cooked meal is also prepared for those who request it (separate charge). On your way to see the sea in Gangneung, enjoy the countryside atmosphere and warm hospitality.

The birth of 'Golmala' dates back to 1938. The wooden structure, which has endured for 86 years, had many places to touch, as some parts had collapsed. The pillars of the hanok were preserved as much as possible, and the missing parts were replaced to match the past and the present in the wooden structure. All indoor spaces have been carefully designed to visually communicate with the outdoor courtyard. The spacious bathroom space is designed to be the most cozy place in this house. We hope you experience the meeting of the past and the present during your stay at 'Golmala'. We have provided a guide to the history of 'Golmala', nearby restaurants, bars, and cafe information. It was officially opened as a Hanok experience accommodation business at the end of January 2023.
