Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Hampshire

We enjoyed our stay at Andy & Rosie's thanks to the great location and beautiful surroundings. We used it as a base for Goodwood, which was a short drive away. The local golf club being so close was also a bonus. The accommodation itself was well furnished and spacious and check in was made simple with the clear instructions and Andy's welcoming greeting on arrival.

Beth's place is fantastic. The beautiful views through the big picture window were just amazing. The house is lovely with many thoughtful touches. The beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. I would highly recommend Beth's place to anyone visiting the island. It's a great base to get around and a lovely place to come back to.

We stayed in June, all together 3 adults and Katie couldn’t have been more welcoming. The house is marvellous, the location central to the many sights around Netheravon. We would definitely recommend the house and would come again.

We hired this for a few days with family to celebrate my nans 70th birthday. Absolutely beautiful house and gardens and the facilities are amazing. We live locally so knew about the area but loved having a swimming pool, tennis courts and snooker table for all of us to enjoy. The lounge was bigger than we thought and comfortably sat all of us. We also received a helpful guide a few days before our stay which gave us all the information we needed. Overall a really lovely stay, thank you!

Ruth and Calum were amazing to deal with. Ours was a last minute reservation and they were very responsive and helpful. The location is amazingly beautiful and the surrounds are worth exploring. Very clean and tidy accommodation which is very accurate to the description.

Had a lovely relaxing break here, the space was fantastic and the surroundings were peaceful and quiet. Excellent location - the village pub is a must visit!

Another fantastic stay at The Salt Shack! We absolutely love it there, each visit has been consistently successful, the house has been beautiful and clean with great things for kids to do. We struggled to leave as my 3 year old announced she “wanted to live here forever” and wouldn’t get in the car! It really is a fabulous place to stay and has plenty to do in the local area, the beach is an easy walk and Chichester is a short drive away. Highly recommend The Salt Shack! We’ll definitely be back again! ☺️

We booked Poets with some friends for the weekend and were not disappointed, the accommodation looked like the photos and it was well equipped. There is parking for two cars. It is in a rural location with fabulous walks literally on the doorstep, we walked in the nature reserve making it up to the top to take in the views on Shoulder of Mutton and then saw the Poets stone on the way back down, the dogs had a fabulous time. We walked into Steep and found the waterfall but chose to drive to the pub (the Cricketers was particularly friendly). We BBQ'd in the back garden and enjoyed the board games in the evenings before making the most of the dark skies. Alex was very responsive, checking in on day one to make sure we were settled and then responding quickly when we needed something over the weekend. I would certainly recommend!

Lovely self contained space with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Really beautifully appointed inside. Modern and uncluttered. Lovely spot with space to sit outside and secluded wodded area for a fire out or bbq which we really enjoyed. Lots of lovely walks on your doorstep there and two great local pubs nearby with friendly staff. would recommend.

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at The Old Cooks House. It was cosy, clean and comfortable. The beds were great and we both slept well on all nights. Jackie had left a plethora of goodies for us for breakfast and snacking and she was really helpful in guiding us to places to eat out. It was a lovely break.

We had a brilliant stay - perfect location (easy walk to Lainston) and a brilliant home-from-home base. Stunning garden - wish we could have stayed longer!

A fabulous place! I stayed with my wife and two children (4 and 2) and couldn’t recommend it more. The accommodation was perfect, it’s private, quiet, clean and has everything you need. A well organised pool house, with a kitchen and clean amenities you need. The pool and hot tub was a great addition that the children loved. The house is set in a quiet residential area that was perfect for exploring Winchester and Paultons/Peppa Pig World. Stephanie and her husband were attentive, polite and communicative if we needed anything. Made the 3 nights stay very easy, enjoyable and relaxing. Highly recommend.

The carriage was lovely and situated in a perfect spot , 5/10 min to nice pubs , beach and funfair . The kids loved the alpacas in the field next to us . Only one issue , not enough cooking/bbq pots pans and utensils for 4 adults and 3 small kids but overall we had a great time and would love to stay again .

We absolutely adored staying at Naomi’s place! Within the first 5 minutes of being there I was ready to leave a 5* review. The hosts showed us round the property on arrival and we settled in to watching the amazing local wildlife - we saw the barn owl, deer, hares and swallows. The field out front was amazing for our two little dogs who have been asleep since we got home from all the excitement. And the interior of the property was gorgeous with everything you could need. The hosts gave us local walks and recommendations. We walked to the oak pub through the woods which we would recommend. We will definitely be back and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you 😊

We had a lovely stay at Rivendell Park. Both Natalie and snick were perfectly friendly and helpful. They have recently taken over the site and have lots of plans. We loved the relaxed and intimate nature of the site. We everyone felt trusted and safe. The facilities are great and set to get better. The flat was great with the pool eifht opposite. Which was super convenient.hl great place for children to meet and enjoy playing together, while the parents can relax a little. Great park. With a really friendly team. We will definitely be back. Many thanks for a great stay. Wishing you the very best as you work through the busy periods this summer and make the place Your own.

Beautiful stay! I love the desk by the window to write and how close it is to walk to the sea and local restaurants. Would definitely go back!

we were lucky to stumble across this gem due to a last minute cancellation. it was exactly what we were hoping for and more. the location, the cabin, the surroundings were magical and the break from reality we so needed. thank you so much Clare for all your help and for allowing us to see your part of the world in such a perfect way. My wife and I stayed four nights at Oak Tree Retreat In June. It is a lovely place. It is obvious that a lot of work and care has gone into making this a relaxing and comfortable place to stay. Our hosts, Alexia & James, were very friendly and helpful. The gifts of bread, biscuits, hot chocolate and marshmallows on arrival were a generous touch and much appreciated. The bed was extremely comfortable. The cabin had all we needed for our stay during which we mainly self-catered. The cooking arrangements were great. The absolute highlight was the hot tub which we enjoyed for three of our four nights! There is lovely walking country within a five minute drive from the Cabin. Local shops and food outlets are close by. I would certainly recommend Oak Tree Retreat to anyone.

Me and my boyfriend spent two nights here the cabin was super cute and the outdoor area was lovely. Easy drive to national park where there was a village with cute pubs and tearooms. Beautiful scenery. 20mins from the coast which was lovelyyy!! Forrest right out the back of the cabin which you could then walk to a pub in 20mins or so ideally good to have a car but if your looking to have a relaxing stay and not leave this is perfect. BBQ set up and hot tub was lovely. Very peaceful.

The cabin was immaculate and really well thought out . lovely shower room and comfy bed. The breakfast was a pleasant addition. very well placed for attractions, we visited the skylark deer Park, Ashford Hangars, Petersfield Heath and lake, Sheet waterfall, Mother Kelly's (Thursday Gluten free). A nice range of games and books were also available. We enjoyed reading Ichigo Ichie.

We had an amazing couple of nights at the Potager. The property and garden were just as pictured, and we had everything we could possibly have needed. Katie and her husband were wonderful hosts, and we felt they were always on hand to help should we have needed anything. We arrived to some local goodies, which were quickly demolished - what a lovely touch. The house itself was beautifully decorated and very well set up, and the garden was an oasis. We felt so well rested and relaxed after our stay, and didn’t want to leave! The surrounding area was peaceful and quiet, with lovely walks from the doorstep. We couldn’t recommend the Potager more and certainly hope to return!

Oh my goodness, this place is absolutely incredible! Words can’t even begin to describe how magical it is. The location is absolutely stunning, like something out of a postcard. And the wildlife is absolutely breathtaking, all nestled in a peaceful and tranquil setting. If you’re ever looking for a truly unforgettable experience, I highly recommend booking this place. The offerings are simply amazing, and the hosts are incredibly friendly and attentive. They’ll make sure you have a time of your life. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.....for the beautiful tranquil space and setting and for the super-kind and welcoming hosts. This is a little paradise that provides all the comforts of home and with some beautiful walks on the doorstep. Janie and Paul are incredibly hospitable and I cannot thank them enough for making my stay such a relaxed, comfortable and peaceful one as I was in transition during a house move.

Absolutely amazing stay in the cabin and can't wait to go again. It was the perfect place to slow down - so secluded in such beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and there's a sauna on the farm, which was a surprise added bonus! We had lovely lunch at Duke of Cumberland Arms which Edd and Mea recommended. All in all a fantastic place and wonderful hosts. Thank you!
