Lovely private and comfortable location with modern chalet design and relaxing hot tub.

We enjoyed staying at Robert's fabulously decorated home. It is a unique home in a beautiful setting; it's not often we get to stay in a home with exotic birds, friendly ducks, and a dinosaur room. And Robert is an excellent host. It's a great location for seeing the area - many attractions within a 1-2 hour drive. We would stay here again if our travels bring us back to Nova Scotia.

Our stay was more beautiful than we could possibly have imagined. The stunning landscape right out the back never ceased taking our breath away, with some profound sunsets right over the bay. We loved sitting on the deck with our books and coffee, and especially loved walking down along the water, watching the tide go out and in. The restfulness of everything was absolutely healing and rejuvenating. Between the views, the beach, the critters (we saw the fox and some deer), the deck, and the easy communication with the host, staying here again would be a reason to revisit Nova Scotia, which is a 16 hour drive from our home! But it was totally worth it. I should also mention that there were too many amenities to take advantage of in the week we stayed there!

We chose this location because it wasn’t far from Wolfville and Aylesford - I have family in both location. The accommodation was easy to get to and convenient. Eric and Jenny were responsive and helpful but we were out most of the time so I didn’t need much help. The place was clean and well kept and very well done. I stayed with my 4 boys and we were quite comfortable. The location had a great back lawn for my kids to run outside and play. Just a heads up if you’re travelling with kids in the summer months. There are no room darkening window coverings so you might want to bring your own. The place is beautiful with lots of light and windows so it’s pretty light in the place depending on when you’re going to bed. We would totally go back :)

Absolutely gorgeous place, so peaceful and serene! Hot-tub area was honestly perfect. The weather wasn't the best during my stay but I was still able to enjoy the hot-tub with it being covered, and the lake is truly breathtaking in the rain.

We had a fantastic weekend staying at Karen and Dan’s! This is the second time that we go as a group of friends to unwind and have a relaxing weekend together at their place. We loved having a campfire by the water and getting to use the hot tub. We look forward to being there again!

Our group of 9 stayed very comfortably in this space. It was exactly as described, really well decorated and clean! The location and extra amenities are a great plus. The host was friendly and proactive which made the check in and check out seamless.

Very nice place to stay. The view from the back yard is priceless and is very relaxing .She has everything there to make for a nice evening outside ,patio lights, firepit ,lite up dock and picnic table right on the water. Inside is very clean and cozy and is not lacking for anything that you might need .This is not a place that you want to make any excessive noise as there is another residence right above you.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. Cozy and private unit that’s just steps away from beautiful walking trails. Would recommend to anyone visiting the South Shore!

Absolutely gorgeous pristine property with a beautiful fire pit and seating area. Great little walking trail that surrounds the property and follows along a brook. The hosts had every light clearly labeled in the house for which was which this was great when your unfamiliar with the spot. The hosts had clear instructions posted on the door how to access the walking trail, how to start the BBQ, how to start the firepit. Although not beach weather during my stay the airbnb was equipped with beach chairs a cooler and beach toys and boogie boards for guest use and also was all Clearly labeled stating so. Bathroom had extra "if you forget" toiletries. Small coffee area fully stocked with small snacks and espresso machine with full stock of pods. Another great feature was the bedroom had a small rechargeable fan you could use as hand held or lay on your pillow if your a fan person I loved this. Definetly recommend this airbnb and the hosts 5*

Victoria has created such a cozy and welcoming space with an absolutely gorgeous view. Everything is spotless and pristine, the bed was super comfortable, and she has provided all you need for a home away from home. We enjoyed meeting her very sociable chickens and were able to truly relax in between our runs into Halifax for fabulous food, and a quick trip to Peggy’s Cove. Although our stay was brief, we had a simply marvelous time. Thank you so much, Victoria!

Our stay was great. There was on-street parking available, the space was clean and as described and had all the amenities listed. I would stay there again!

Marvin's place was beautiful, a nice get away for my brothers bachelor party ! he was very helpful and really nice ! went above and beyond! would highly recommend his place!

To say we were satisfied is an understatement. We most definitely will be booking again to utilize in the summer season. We rented this time to be closer to the venue holding my sons wedding, and having such a wonderful home and hosts made is so much easier on us ❤️

Me and my GF stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt we made the right choice booking this beautifully located cabin by the lake. Everything was as described. Tina was an exceptional host who made us feel welcomed. This little slice of paradise was secluded enough to offer peace and quiet yet close enough to wolfville and surrounding areas to go out and enjoy some nice food at the local restaurants. Id highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a nice relaxing weekend by the lake to kick back and unwind.

Another successful stay at Keith's place. we were visiting family for Thanksgiving and Keith was very accommodating and provided heaters for the chilly weekend weather. Always great to stay at this spot!

If you are looking for a place to kick back, relax and make some memories this is the place. The sunrises from the loft were magnificent- and the short walk to enjoy coffee on the lake was well worth it. Indoor and outdoor areas were well thought out, and just added to our overall experience. We will definitely be back :)

This is such a hidden gem in Downtown Mahone Bay it is ideally located halfway between Lunenberg and Chester Have stayed several times and never disappointed. Highly recommend

Wonderful stay at a great location and friendly accommodating hosts.Location and property was like a piece of paradise to us.Enjoyed the ducks playing in the pond each day and the dear passing by our doorway each night to get there supper from Kim.Enjoyed each morning breakfast prepared by chef Craig ,wonderful variety,beautiful presentation and delivered personally by Craig to our doorstep each morning during our stay.Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a 5 Star vacation. We had a fantastic stay! Robert was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. His hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. The property itself is cozy, charming, and wonderfully private—perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway. We especially enjoyed the wood-fired sauna and hot tub, which added a unique and rustic touch to the experience. The wood-fired pizza oven was another highlight—easily some of the best pizza we’ve ever made! We highly recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.
