If you are looking for a small private casita surrounded by nature, you've found it. It's close to town but feels like you are in the middle of nature. Enjoy this one-bedroom, 1 bathroom (shower only, no tub) with a small desk, wifi, microwave, small fridge, dresser, a place to hang your clothes too. Enjoy the outdoor patio, outdoor barbecue, outdoor fireplace, surrounded by hundreds of trees, and easy parking. We replaced the mattress with a new firmer foam mattress as of 8/18/25.

Creekside Studio (private entrance)

Creekside Studio is a cozy, well equipped, private yet centrally located studio retreat in South Escondido. It is on a 1-acre, quiet cul-de-sac lot, attached to the main house (our residence), with it’s own private entrance. The studio has a small kitchenette (no stove), a queen size bed and a twin sleeper/couch and a bathroom with shower (no tub). Roku TV, free-WiFi keep you entertained or hang out on the deck with your coffee in a park-like setting.

Fontaine Family Vineyards has a 2 person newly renovated suite with outdoor patio overlooking the vineyard, private entrance and easy parking, and enhanced cleaning protocol.
