The west of Bielefeld is the ideal location to explore the city and surrounding area. Within walking distance, there is a lot to reach: the Kunsthalle, Oetkerhalle, the train station and the city center. The university is also close by. The location is ideal for trips to the Externsteine or the Hermann Monument. Hikers can walk to the Hermansweg directly from here. We are happy to give many tips. Stay in the middle of the historic city center in the oldest half-timbered house in Wiedenbrück, built in 1549. The beautiful Flora-Westfalica, with its state garden show grounds and the Emssee, can be reached on foot in three minutes. In December, the Wiedenbrück Christmas market begins again, attracting crowds of guests from afar with its unique atmosphere.
