We live in a lovely 16th century house that was originally a pub in the pretty village of Lamberhurst, Kent. Our house is quaint, quirky, welcoming & relaxing. We supply local eggs, cereal, milk , bread , spreads , tea , coffee etc to make your own breakfast. We , as of April 2026 , have daughter and granddaughter and their dog living with us . We thought we’d have to give up Airbnb, but cross fingers , guests have been amazing , as they usually are with Airbnb , so continuing for now :)

An artistic retreat 5 mins walk to the sea

Our house is a converted shop, built in 1830. We live five minutes walk from the sea and cafes, restaurants, cinemas and art galleries on fashionable Norman Road. We serve croissants, butter and jam or marmalade and coffee and tea for breakfast and there are tea and coffee making facilities in the bedroom. The bedroom has a wardrobe, chest of drawers, writing desk, chair and very comfortable double bed and a stylish en-suite shower room. We do not share our kitchen with Airbnb guests.

Enjoy this cosy but spacious room, it has its own entrance with a south facing patio and garden. An ensuite shower room and super king size bed. The room has lovely views,and private garden over looking a tree lined paddock, full of wildlife. Enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst relaxing in the super king size bed, or a evening glass of wine on the patio, and you may even see an owl swooping and foraging for food. There is a great pub only a short 5 minute walk away.
