House holiday rentals in Hastings

This is the second time we have stayed at Corrina’s holiday home and once again we found it to be squeaky clean, very well equipped, peaceful and a great location. The garden is home to a family of foxes, who were so confident, that they sunbathed on the lawn whilst we were sitting on the veranda. Corrina made us aware of check in details in very good time and left a number just in case we needed assistance, which I’m happy to say we didn’t need. The surrounding area is so lush and green, this time of year, and there is always plenty of interesting things to do nearby. We will visit again next year, but hopefully for longer this time. Thank you.

We had a great long weekend stay here to celebrate a special birthday. The weather was good so the grandchildren made full use of the pool, huge garden and tennis court - as did some of the adults. House was very clean and well equipped. Very peaceful and secluded setting - everyone said they would love to come back again.

We had a fantastic time at Dormestone House. It is an amazing property with so much space so perfect for visiting with family or friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Would love to go in summer when we could use all of the facilities.

We enjoyed a 3 day mini break at the Calf Shed cottage with our 2 children and dog. The cottage itself was nice with open plan kitchen and comfy seating area, and a private garden area which was great for the kids and dog. A big bonus was the heated pool with stunning views. The weather was not great but the heated pool meant we could still use it, which is a short walk from the cottage. The kids also enjoyed the trampoline and table tennis. The main barn was not rented during our stay which meant we had sole use of the pool and play equipment. There was no welcome pack/booklet however the host Alison was quick to respond to questions (wifi password, bin locations, etc). Other comments is the double bed was actually 2 single beds which the kids commandeered and signs of wear and tear here and there. However overall a pleasant trip.

Absolutely lovely place to spend a night - from feeding the fish to a quick round of pool, and of course the brilliant facilities on the patio, which couldn't be simpler to use thanks to the helpful instructions. Everything is set up to provide optimum convenience and a warm welcome (like the plentiful fire/BBQ supplies and the eggs and marmalade from Jane's hens, which were both fantastic, so kind!) Jane herself is a wonderful host, and my partner and I highly recommend this listing. Thank you!

A really unique place in lovely grounds. As a family with young children the facilities made the stay for us. The Wing itself is nice full of character in terms of the architecture and decor. The place was clean, comfortable beds, kitchen had the essentials. Only thing I’d say is the bathroom and kitchen could do with a simple modernisation but really nothing to worry about, everything worked fine. The family say they would return so that’s the ultimate verdict.

Great accommodation! Clean and spacious. Everything has been thought about. Quick response to communication and very easy check in and check out.

What a fantastic place to stay! The house is lovely and furnished to a high standard. The views are incredible, and its been great to watch deer, foxes, rabbits and horses in the field behind the house. Andrew is the perfect host, so welcoming and going out of his way to make our stay the best it can be. Always available if we needed him, but totally respecting our privacy. We would highly recommend both Deepwell and Andrew. We have had an amazing 4 months while our house was being renovated and we're going to miss the Deepwell gang!

On arrival we were a bit concerned that the driveway and entrance were a bit unkempt but don’t let those first impressions put you off. Once you get inside the house is great and just like the pictures. The open plan kitchen, dining, lounge and conservatory was great for our family weekend away. Even though we didn’t cook, the kitchen was well equipped and there were plenty of chairs to sit outside. The view from the top of the garden is amazing. Rebecca was helpful in allowing us a slightly earlier check in and providing taxi numbers to get into Hastings.

Absolutely charming and spacious house in a beautiful setting. Charlie was very responsive to my numerous inquiries about things to do in the area. We also really appreciated the well stocked kitchen. The house is even more beautiful than the photos. Definitely recommend. Would love to stay again.

Charming cottage right in the middle of Hastings town centre and couldn’t be closer to the beach. Our two boys loved it and there were even some toys in one of the rooms and children’s books. Check in was flexible as we arrived a little early. Thank you so much for a great stay!

We had a gorgeous trip to Hastings with the dog & the space was perfect for us. We were extremely comfortable & felt right at home. 🏠 We followed the local recommendations from Angela & co. & had some incredible cocktails not far from the Airbnb! 🍸 There’s a bus stop just round the corner with quick & easy access to Old Town which was perfect for us and the dog. 🐶 Angela checked in via message but still gave us our space so we felt very relaxed and looked after. Highly recommend this space for your next Hastings trip! (The view is amazing!) 🤩

The house is stunning, the layout is perfect and was spotless. Level 1 kitchen/lounge/outdoor balcony. Level 2 bedrooms. Level 3 attic room with chairs, binoculars and great views (each level has great views!) We were a group of 4 although if 8, the size and layout would have allowed us to have our own space. The bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, a large family bathroom and all with sea views. Watching sunrise over the ocean and the dawn morning bird chorus transported me to tropical holiday vibes. The house overlooks gardens, bluebells and iris were in bloom. Down the house steps and after about 50 metres you are on the sea wall/beach. Jo and Andrew have been great hosts, great communication prior to our trip and provided a welcome pack of really useful local information, thank you for the snacks and wine. Relaxing on the balcony, watching the ocean and world go by was the perfect way to start the trip. If I ever return to Hastings, first stop would be to try and rebook this AirBNB

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect! The only downside was parking and the narrow street is generally jammed packed so had to park a few streets away. Aside from that we had a wonderful time (and very grateful for coffee machine). We were in Hastings for my mother’s funeral and this lovely home provided a safe and comforting environment to come home to. Thank you for a fantastic stay 💕

We had an absolutely perfect stay at The Pump. The photos do not do it justice, the property is beautiful and full of light. We were only there for two nights but it felt like a home from home and we would've stayed much longer if we could. Very welcoming hosts, there was wine, bread, marmalade, etc. for us on arrival which was lovely. Lots of board games to keep you busy even in the rain. The wood burning hot tub is an obvious perk, and Brian was very responsive and proactive with keeping it at the perfect temperature for us. We would recommend to anyone hoping for a relaxing escape to the country. Thank you very much to Brian and Francesca for making it such a memorable stay.

Fantastic accommodation, had everything we needed for the 2 nights for us 5 ladies including a great breakfast tray with sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, beans, bread rolls. Very clean and modern, lovely big shower. Wood burning hot tub and visiting horses over the fence.

A lovely place. full of character and original features and nicely decorated. The log burner was a great treat to come home to after wintery walks on the local beaches. There are a lot of steps...up to the front door, up to the first floor and up into the garden The place is also at the top of the hill above Old Hastings Town. so whilst its only about 15/20 mins walk into the main town, the walk home is a mini workout all up hill. But parking was very easy in the street and the location is perfect for exploring Hastings and the surrounding area. We had a great trip!

We had a really lovely stay at Samantha's house. the rooms were clean and well decorated. It was well equipped with everything we needed. I had some friends visiting Hastings from London and now they want to move to the area! so it was very positive.

We had a lovely comfortable stay and we were always able to park the car nearby. Quiet location with occasional cars. Well equipped house that had everything we needed. As we had our dog with us we found an alleyway down the road that took us to the lovely Alexandra Park about 5 min walk away.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - location suitable for our dog as very peaceful rural setting. The kitchen was also well stocked and the lounge comfortable. Also ideally situated to visit local National Trust properties in this part of Kent - information regarding local pubs shops etc very helpful - we would consider returning .

Garry was a great host with an amazing garden. The room is tucked away in nature away from Hastings. He was really helpful and responsive. Would stay again and will refer to friends.

Jane’s family home was wonderful. It was beautifully decorated and was extremely roomy. Lovely bathrooms and well equipped, spacious kitchen. The old town is on the doorstep so all amenities including the seafront are very close. There is no parking included but free parking can be found towards the outskirts of town, about a 5-10 min walk away.

Lovely property and beautifully furnished. Good communication from David and clear instructions. Worth keeping in mind that the parking is a little walk away and you end up losing your space when you go on day trips to Rye or Battle - though there is more free parking the further up the hill you go :)
