In the centre of the wine village of Bechtheim (pop. 1800), on a residential road with hardly any traffic, you have the renovated farm worker's house of a former winery all to yourselves. The kitchen is our little museum, which you can not only look at but also use. On the first floor there are two bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds) and a bathroom. We do not have a television! But we do have a beautiful garden, which can be used until 10 pm.

The historic winery was built in 1864 and has been under renovation of buildings for several years. Since 2018 it is called "Grünwalder Hof". At the same time, we are also building the viticulture deducted from the previous owners step by step. In the meantime, all water, electric and gas supply has also been completely renewed and a low-temperature condensing heater has also been installed. I spent two weeks here with my husband. The best accommodation at a reasonable price in a very quiet and green place. Parking available. I often travel the world, staying in private apartments. I am not a demanding person, but in this apartment I felt at home. Everything you need for everyday life was here, and even more. The host is very nice and available at any time. I don't think I could find a better place in the whole of Worms. I recommend it.

Xiaomei was very kind and welcoming. She made sure we were very comfortable. I really appreciated little touches like having an adaptor and a phone charger next to the bed. We stayed for 4 nights in the apartment and felt very comfortable there. Salvatore is a very likeable host and was always available. Although the house where the apartment is located is right on a main road, it is very quiet there. The apartment is at the back of the house in the basement and is surrounded by a small garden. On our next visit to Osthofen, we will be happy to stay in Salvatore's apartment again.
