Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Heist-aan-Zee

Great Bruge location. Peaceful, walkable streets. super close to the main tourist attractions but still very quiet. 3 floors (VERY steep stairs) but manageable and plenty of space to spread out. Kitchen had enough for us to make a few meals (grocery store very close by). We were spoilt with 3 toilets and a soaking tub. Wowee! We'd stay here again if coming to Brugge! Amaryllis gave great recommendations for second hand shopping and even help call us a taxi. Wonderful host!

We had a great stay with the three of us (two adults and our 9-month old baby). The accommodation looks great with attention to details to make our holiday relaxing (as far as that goes with a little one). The location is nice, close to numerous beaches and with a lovely view overlooking the farmland.

We had a pleasant stay! The welcome was warm and the host provided us with plenty of good recommendations for visiting the surroundings. The house is simply beautiful , perfect for a small family!

Very good stay at Veerle's. Very easy to access the house, we had all the information we needed. Veerle was very responsive and answered any questions we had. The space was very clean and very nice. It is in a very good location.

Hilde welcomed us personally in her accommodation, which is a former storefront beautifully transformed into a cozy living quarter. Every room was designed differently, but each had its own charme. Thank you for the enjoyable stay!

AMAZING!! No other word to describe it! We had a fantastic stay at Annicki's place! She was very responsive and so helpful. The house was perfect! The pictures are great, but it is even better in person! The entire place is sparkly clean. The game room is fantastic, the beds are comfy, the kitchen is equipped with everything that you need. We would like to just move there! I highly recommend the stay - you won't be disappointed!

We loved it in the cozy cottage. We felt right at home in the beautifully decorated dike house. Where we immediately noticed that Iske has thought well to make the cozy spaces usable and practical for a short stay. Everything is right. The front garden was also great to sit in with the beautiful weather we had. In the comfortable chairs, watch what occasionally passes by on the slightly higher street. Cycling and walking 'Sasputgenoten' nice cats and dogs with owners. With a clear view of the greenery across the street. We didn't really need anything else. The electric bikes we were able to rent from Iske were perfect for exploring the area. The tip we got from her about cycling a path very close to (or actually between) the Westerschelde was the best. The water, the view, birds, cows, grassland. We will definitely come back to see more of Zeeuws Vlaanderen and enjoy the cottage.

Beautiful house, very clean, modern amenities, one of the best places we've stayed. Gerda and Sigfried offered early check in, left a lot of food/snacks for us to enjoy. The house is spotless, even cooking tools and utensils appear new which is usually hard to find in Airbnb. The owners take care of the house as it was their own. The location is very quiet, a outside the center but it can be easily reached by bus or ~30min walk. Highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Laurent. The apartment is flooded with light and clean, the car was safe in the garage and on foot it is a few meters to the beach & city center. In the garden, the afternoon sun shines beautifully. We had a very nice weekend!

We love coming back to this place. Tranquility, walks with the dog, Delhaize nearby. The owner responds quickly to questions and this is reassuring. I recommend this apartment.

A very nice apartment where we immediately felt comfortable. At our arrival everything was sparkling clean, the decor is new and in perfect condition. Would love to come again anytime.

The apartment is very nice, very comfortable for 2 people and well equipped. The location is good, 2nd row from the beach, with the disadvantage that the view of the sea is almost completely obscured by the terrible high-rise buildings - but we had expected that. It's great that there are two balconies here on the 7th floor. From the rear, you even have a nice view of some nature and a part of the village, which consists of beautiful houses. Communication with the landlords was very good, friendly and fast. We had some confusion with parking bicycles. This can be done in a single garage, which is located in the second basement of another house, which was not obvious. Here, my wife accidentally locked herself in the garage and, since the house is currently empty, she was very lucky to be freed by a user of the garages. Unfortunate coincidence, but you should be careful (no devaluation for it).

Very well equipped and clean apartment. Very great location by the sea. It was a short walk to the city. Close parking. The owner was helpful and advised.

We had a great long weekend over Ascension Day with our group of friends. The accommodation is in a great location, only one street away from the beach, offers plenty of space and great amenities for groups of 10 people. By train you can quickly get to Bruges and communication with Isabelle was very relaxed and accommodating. Thank you!!

I had a fantastic stay at Carl’s place. The apartment is cozy, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean. It’s located in a quiet area, just a short distance from the beach. There’s a great spot nearby for walking or jogging, and several excellent restaurants are only a 5-minute drive away. I would definitely return and stay there again!

Bruges is a very compact city,and nearly all of the key attractions are just a short stroll from the apartment. We had a bulky/heavy suitcase which made the stairs up to the apartment a bit challenging and there are no cooking facilities, but that was made clear in the description, and everything else was perfectly fine. We would happily return, and highly recommend the apartment to other couples.

The flat is super cute and located in a great location. It’s close to all central attractions with paid parking just 3 mins away as described. Also charged at the lot which was helpful with my EV. It is on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but I’d absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

We loved our stay. Sara was very responsive. Check-in was easy, and the stairs were easy to navigate. The location is outstanding with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and retail stores. It is a very spacious apartment, and there was plenty of room for our group. We felt at home even though we stayed just 5 nights. When return to Ghent, we would definitely stay here again.

We had a great week in Mylène's apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the bedding in the bedroom is very comfortable. The terrace is spacious and the sea view is beautiful. On sunny days, it is a pure pleasure to enjoy this beautiful terrace. For the grayer and windier days, you can continue to enjoy the beautiful sea view from inside the apartment. If you like to watch the sea "live", this is the perfect place. Mylène's welcome is warm and she ensures that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We'll most certainly be back!

My girlfriend and I had a one night stay and the attic had such a romantic, warm and cozy vibe. Truly amazing. We decided to just make food there and hang out. I’m a big fan of plants and that made this stay extra nice and inspiring due the beautiful plants the attic has! The check in, the parking and the checkout was very easy. Also their communication was fast en spot on, everything was very clear and easy. The location was not central and we didn’t go out so I can’t say anything about that.

We had a wonderful stay at Dominique's 5th floor apartment. It was bright & airy & we felt at home immediately. The views are great & the large balcony is perfect for the afternoon sun/sunsets. There is also a 2nd balcony for the sunrise! And you can walk to the beach for these too, in only 15 minutes. The heated swimming pools(adult & baby pools)are a real hit. The large pool is very rarely busy. We loved it! You need to wear swimming caps, but once bought that wasn't a problem, as everyone wears one. They can be purchased in the small office in the pool apartment block. There are shops & restaurants within walking distance. The tram stop & train station are a 10 minute walk. We took a tram to Oostende & a train to Bruges. Fares are inexpensive. Kitchen facilities are excellent, coffee N'Espresso machine with pods & biscuits to start us off! A nice touch. Dominique is a very responsive & attentive host. Beds were very comfy. We had a really great stay. Just book it!!

Everything was great. The studio is clean, very nicely furnished and the view of the sea is fantastic. The surroundings are also very quiet, right on the beach and you can fall asleep with the sound of the sea... we enjoyed it very much and had a great stay.
