Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

Benedikte House is located about ten minutes drive from Egersund city center and about five minutes from E39. We have tried to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one who lived in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the edge of the yard at Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and quiet. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock couple that walk freely. The house is very modern and well equipped.

Enjoy a relaxing holiday with the whole family in our modern, high-standard cabin! This is our family cabin, which we use as often as we can, but we’re happy to share it when we’re not there. The cabin is spacious at 150 m², with four bedrooms and sleeping space for up to 11 guests—perfect for two families traveling together. In addition, take a step back and relax in our luxurious sauna with panoramic fjord and mountain views. We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as we do!

Get an experience and a good night's sleep in scenic surroundings. The cabin is well equipped, maintained and located away from traffic. Short distance to E39 which takes you to Stavanger in an hour and otherwise has good access to the Dalane region. - No noise - No through traffic - Only one other cabin in the same area - Grazing animals in the nearby area during summer - There is no fireplace/wood stove in the cabin, but possibility for fire pan outside if desired

Welcome to idyllic Rødland. Here you can relax and listen to the birdsong and the water babbling in the stream. Fantastic hiking opportunities and great marked trails. Cozy little cabin for 2–3 people. Swimming and fishing opportunities right outside the cabin. Toilet in a separate building right next to the cabin (no shower) Kitchen in the cabin has been renovated June 2024. Bedroom renovated in April 2026.
