Holiday rentals with a patio in Herford

I felt right at home from the first moment. I only needed the place for one night, as I myself come from the area, but just wanted to be alone for myself and sleep for one night away from the family hustle and bustle. It was a very, very nice stay that I will repeat on occasion!

Great location in a quiet area, just a few minutes walk from the city center. Supermarket and public transport stop below the house. Large and spacious apartment, well-furnished and with all the amenities and services to spend a stay in total comfort. Wonderful!

This was our first time staying with Janine, the property was as described and felt like home from home. There was a bundle of local information to hand, the are is stunning along with local amenities. On property car parking was much appreciated, safe and secure. Ralf was a great host, everything was as easy as possible and he was always quickly reachable. Particularly noteworthy are the small attentions such as snacks and a few drinks in the refrigerator! :)

I spent a long weekend with my sister in Kim's apartment and had a wonderful time! Kim welcomed us very warmly and was also available at all times during the stay. The apartment is larger than it looks in the photos and very lovingly furnished. Everything you need is available in the basic equipment. A wonderful, clean and generously sized apartment. We felt very comfortable. A special plus is the large walk-in closet, the huge terrace and the gas grill.

It is a nice quiet place in the country. Within walking distance to Lemgo. A short drive to Detmold.

The place was a described, clean and welcoming. It was perfect for our stay visiting relatives in the area. It had a private feel, snuggled in beautiful surroundings. The local pub is also recommendable.

There were three of us in the cute house and there was plenty of room. Perfect location right by the forest in the immediate vicinity of the Externsteine and a lot of beautiful hiking trails through the Teutoburg Forest. Unreservedly recommended.

After 2023, we were finally in this wonderful house for the second time, where you can feel the spirit of over 300 years. We - and also the children - felt absolutely comfortable. To avoid writing too much, here is a brief list of the many highlights: - Very high-quality and well thought-out equipment - Great room layout and perfectly restored original timber-framed style - wonderfully close to nature with river access on the property. You can observe rare birds, deer and raccoons and enjoy almost untouched nature - calm and friendly neighbourhood - A perfect place to leave the stress of the big city behind - The stunning Externsteine are very close In short: A perfect place!

We really enjoyed our stay. We went to Bielefeld to visit my wife's sister who is in college. The accommodation is perfectly located: close to the city center, close to the university, close to a very nice park. It is in a pretty and quiet, residential area. The apartment is very nice, functional and very well equipped. It's perfect for a family with kids. We appreciated the communication with the owners who really sought to make our stay easier. To park the car, parking on nearby streets is limited in duration (3h) and paying, but we were able to park on a street about 600m away and it was unlimited and free. We would highly recommend this place!

Apartment furnished with a lot of love for detail. There is nothing missing, on the contrary, even coffee and tea or some things you need in the bathroom. In the apartment, you immediately forget that you are in a backyard area. In the living room, you can comfortably watch TV or chill out. We found the beds excellent. For a strong body, the shower could be a little bigger, but you can manage and everything works. In any case, we felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend the apartment. Such a clean and well-equipped apartment can rarely be found. The only downside is perhaps the lack of parking directly in front of the apartment, but we were able to find a parking space just under 100 m away to bring the luggage from there to the apartment on a comfortable footpath. That went really well and the specified parking garage is great and can be reached in about 5 minutes on foot and cheap.

A great place to stay with your family. Kids can play with animals or jump in a trampoline. The apartment was clean and beautifully renovated.
