The quiet location on the Gera River on the edge of the Steigerwald in connection with the proximity to the city and the good transport connections offers an ideal starting point for visits to Erfurt and the surrounding area, as well as for hiking and biking excursions. The Gera bike path leads directly along the house. Business travelers will find quiet and relaxing nights as well as free parking.

My apartment is located in the historic Eckermannhaus in the center of Weimar, the former residence of Goethe's secretary. It can accommodate up to 8 guests (6 adults, 2 children) and has 2 bedrooms with a total of 3 large beds and a sofa bed in the living room. Facilities include a bathroom with tub and a fully equipped open kitchen with seating area. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form.
