We had a wonderful family time at Parker’s cabin. Has everything you may need to enjoy your time in the secluded woods of NC. Very private but with all the amenities you may need. Internet was good and the place very comfortable. It was quite rainy during our stay but we had no issues staying in and enjoying the hot tub from time to time. Would fully recommend this place to any one. Thank you Parker!

I think this is the first Airbnb location that I've visited more than once and we're already talking about our next visit. It's so private, peaceful, and quiet. The space, while small-ish, is just perfect for 2 people and a dog. If you're looking for a quiet place to recharge, this is a great place to spend some time.

Absolutely stunning views, incredible property and lovely landscaping made this a wonderful stay! The host was so helpful and our entire trip went perfectly!

We searched for a cabin for a long time, and in the end got tired of all the options and just picked this one. From the moment we entered we know we had made a great choice and we ended up booking an extra night. The cabin is supercosy and well organized, the view is amazing. There is one cabin at like 60 meters away or something but when you look out on your deck you feel like you're all alone in the world and it's a wonderful feeling. I can 100% recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful trip! Enjoyed the fire pit and beautiful views from the deck. Our first time to the smoky mountains and we were very pleased with the location and ease of getting to the park. Especially enjoyed the quieter side of the park. Host was very responsive to our questions and things we needed help with. We would definitely stay at their properties again. Cozy bed and everything we needed for the week. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Our stay at Little Bear Creek was delightful ! The house was immaculate with so many surprises- a basket with s’mores supplies, extra chips, lots of spices, extra beach towels, picnic blanket and cooler, shampoos and conditioners, lots of games for kids and adults and even the cloth tablecloths was a nice touch!! My grandchildren loved the creek area-especially the tree phone! The beds were comfortable and the addition of multiple charging ports in each room was very helpful. Patti was quick to respond to my messages. We thoroughly enjoyed being there! Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for our annual mountain trip with our grandchildren!!

We love this cabin! Always clean and a beautiful property. We love to come to Otto for all the hiking and nature filled activities to do around the area. It’s my favorite place to stay when we come to the mountains to relax.

If you need a place to get away from the traffic and everyday obligation of work and just need a peaceful reset, this is the place. From the beautiful scenery surrounding you and the sound of the river below, you can feel the stress melt away. The cabin was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. Catherine is a great host and very accommodating. We will definitely book again when we need to recharge and plan on trying to book in the fall because this place has to look amazing when the leaves start changing colors. Thanks again Catherine for a wonderful place and can’t wait to come see you and this wonderful place again.

Heather’s place was a little slice of heaven! If you are looking for peace, beauty, and still close to town this is perfect! I felt like I could stay there forever!! It was the perfect place to relax after an AT section hike! Highly recommended!!

We had a great stay at Carolyn’s cabin! It was away from everything, which some may not like, but that’s exactly how we like it. It forces you to get creative and just enjoy the simple things, like the sounds of nature. She had beautiful flowers and plants on the deck, which brought in lots of hummingbirds. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom had extras for you to use, along with high quality pots and pans. (Stainless steel is all we use). The drive was steep, but our truck did just fine. Our dog enjoyed it all as well. 🐾

We had such an amazing stay! The view alone is worth booking, but everything else just made it even better. The location strikes the perfect balance—peaceful and secluded enough to feel like a true getaway, but still close to town for anything you might need. Makenzi was absolutely wonderful—great communication, super friendly, and made everything feel easy and welcoming. You can tell they really care about the space AND the people staying in it. Honestly, the only downside was having to pack up and leave. We’re so grateful they shared their slice of heaven with us, and we’d recommend this place in a heartbeat. Don’t hesitate—book it!

Beautiful place. Anniversary trip for us to get away. Rainbow Lake is really more of a pond, but still loved canoeing on it. Very clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked and loved having a screen porch to enjoy the property without the bugs. Matt was very responsive. Would definitely stay again.

Staying at Jennifer’s mountain retreat was truly a magical experience. From the moment we booked, Jennifer was incredibly responsive, kind, and thoughtful, making the entire process smooth and welcoming. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and convenient. The cabin itself was mesmerizing..honestly, the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person. Every detail of the space felt mindfully designed, and the peaceful mountain views were exactly what we were hoping for. We especially loved the little touches like the hummingbirds visiting the feeder, the incredibly cozy fireplace on the deck, and the charming bee-themed decor. The bed was super comfortable, the linens were spotless, and the overall atmosphere was calming and rejuvenating. This place is a true sanctuary in nature, and I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Jennifer, for creating such a beautiful and memorable space! PS: Your honey is incredibly delicious. A must buy!

Heather’s place was a great retreat! The cabin was well appointed with interesting decor and a comfortable bed. She had everything one needs for a restful stay from the snacks in the cupboard to the drinks in the fridge. The shower had good water pressure with hot water. Plenty of clean, soft towels were set out ready for you. The landscape had to be my favorite! She takes great pride in offering a variety of flowering plants in the front garden. The moss garden was my favorite! It reminded me of my childhood and playing in the woods. The moss was always my carpet in my fairy home.😁 There are lots of seating outside to accommodate your nature soaking. It rained when we were there and so we did not use the fire chimney but it was a nice feature given the right time. We definitely be back to the Locust Log Cabin whenever we want a quick getaway. We loved our vacation on the lake in Tamassee! The location was perfect. We went on 2 beautiful hikes in nearby Nantahala National Forest (highly recommend) and spent lots of time on the beautiful lake jocassee and keowee. The house had everything we needed, was private and peaceful, and we saw lots of wildlife. Tom was very responsive, but we hardly needed to reach out because we had everything we needed.

My husband and I loved our stay. Hung out with our daughter, son in law and grandson on the porch. The bed sleeps very comfortably. Loved that we had rain at night and was lulled to sleep by the rain drops on the tin roof. It’s very peaceful and quiet. We will definitely be back and would recommend to friends and family!

This home is a perfect getaway. It is off the beaten path, yet only 8 or 9 minutes from Highlands. It is well equipped for just about all of your needs and then some. The host was very responsive and even reached out to us to see how our first night went. I can’t recommend it enough. The only problem that we encountered was the strength of wifi, which obviously affects your streaming ability. With an AT&T and a Verizon phone, both had no signal while we were there. Beyond that, put your phone down and enjoy what you came to enjoy. You won’t lose all contact with civilization, but I would not recommend it for a business related retreat or a week/weekend where broadband access is crucial. Other than that, It is probably one of the most well furnished and well equipped Airbnb’s I have stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very cozy. It was a perfect couple of days for our honeymoon, and we are already looking forward to returning. PSA: Driving an SUV or a truck is advisable.

Jessica and Sean are amazing hosts! The cabin itself is stunning with spectacular views. We loved that everything was as described in the pictures. The home is well-maintained, clean and organized. With big windows and a beautiful outside area, it really is the best place to stay when visiting the area.

We stayed for a long weekend and the cabin was exactly what we expected-which was lovely! It feels very peaceful and the bed is super comfy. Very easy to get to Cashiers or Highlands with great restaurants and shopping. The decor is beautiful as well as the landscaping on the property. Ace checked in on us and was very responsive. We had an amazing time. The place was in a beautiful little community of cabins but still very private. The view was spectacular and the place itself cozy but modern with everything you need to relax and unwind. It’s minutes from great hiking (river otters and a baby black bear!) and easily accessible waterfalls without a lot of foot traffic. Great for visiting both Cashiers and Highlands. Highly recommend!
