Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. Charming house in a great location. The house has 3 rooms and a loft as well as bathroom and kitchen. It is sorrounded by a very nice garden and has access to its own south facing terrace with garden furniture. Copenhagen and Elsinore can be reached in 20 minutes, and Rungsted harbor with many restaurants and a nice beach within minutes. Louisiana Art Museum, Kronborg Castle are nearby. The hosts live in an independent house in the same place and are available to give you a perfect vacation.

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Our guest house is situated only 100m from Holbæk Fjord by a little lake surrounded by trees. When you live in the house you are close to nature, with easy access to the Fjord. The fjord is often used for water sports. Bicycle- and walking routes makes it easy to take tours, and with a short distance to the center of Holbæk (5 km) you can easily experience the town. Because of the lake, just in front of the guesthouse, it is not suitable for smaller children.

Relaxed area with sea on three sides, near nature, small town with restaurants, cafes, harbor, ferries and trains to Frederiksværk, Hillerød and Copenhagen. Near Lynæs, which is the second port area with a surfing center. The home is located on a closed road in a separate house and has a large room, a small kitchen with dining table, hallway and a toilet with shower. The appartement has a two floors with a stair between them. The living room is upstairs.
