The World Heritage town of Hallstatt is behind the mountain (1 hour drive) and the Dachstein glacier is at the end of the yard with hiking, climbing and via ferrata options.

In winter you can enter the cross-country ski trail directly and take the ski bus free of charge to the Dachstein West ski resort. The bus stop is 150 meters away.
