Apartment holiday rentals in Hokujo

The apartment is perfectly clean & comfy and located about 50 metres from the closest chair lift. The lounge room & bedroom have huge windows looking out over the ski fields so you can sit in the warmth & watch the action before and after getting out there yourself. Iwatake is a great area to ski at with a brand new fast gondola and plenty of chair lifts. The host Daniel & his staff are really friendly and helpful so we really loved staying here & highly recommend to do so too if you get the chance! It’s the kind of place you don’t want to leave!!

The house was beautifully spacious, clean and toasty warm! Super close to the train station/ bus shuttles and supermarket. The house itself had everything you need! Pete was extremely great at communicating and helping us with the best local places to eat and organising transport. If I come back to Hakuba I’ll definitely be booking this place! 10/10

Darren’s place at Big Bear Apartments was the perfect location in Hakuba for me and my husband to spend our 8-year anniversary! Situated a few steps away from the Sakka chair lift at Happo One, this made it super easy for us to walk to the slopes every day. The apartment is well equipped if you want to cook your meals. The plush bed and heated floors provide an extra level of superb comfort. Darren’s team of staff also offers the highest level of customer service. From picking us up at the train station upon our arrival, to the daily evening trips to the grocery store in town, to dropping us off when we left (and then picking us up and dropping us off again because we got the bus location wrong), we really appreciated the hospitality shown to make our vacation as comfortable and convenient as possible. We highly recommend staying here and hope to return next year!

The rooms are clean and the style is fresh and simple

Our stay at Hakuba Downtown Apartments was exceptional. The apartment was exactly what was expected, and roomy for us with 6 total people including two kids. Everything was clean, access was easy, beds comfortable, and directions on everything in English which was helpful. There is an awesome grocery store nearby which helped us cook in the well equipped kitchen while there. Peter was very communicative ahead of arrival and very helpful during our stay. His advice and suggestions made our trip to Hakuba far better than it would have been otherwise. Also, definitely check out Shiho's shop down the road, we found some great things to bring home there! If we ever get the opportunity to return to Hakuba, we'll definitely be trying to stay here again.

We had the best time at this Airbnb! The friendly and helpful team made our stay even better, assisting with booking ski lessons and driving us around when needed. The accommodation was perfect for our family of four, with a well-equipped kitchen, a washer and dryer, a dedicated drying area, and heated floors that made it extra cozy after a day on the slopes. The beds were comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. We would highly recommend this place and hope to return in the future!

The host always responded to messages quickly. The accommodation was just as described and shown in the photos. There were restaurants and a shop nearby. The self check-in process was very easy. The only downside was that it was right next to a railway track, so it was noisy whenever a train passed by — but the trains didn’t run very often, so it wasn’t a big issue.

Clean and pretty place

We had a great stay for 3 nights. It was very peaceful and comfortable. It is also in a great location and easy to get around.

We stayed at Henry and Kyliie's place for 4 nights. it's our first time in the area and choosing their place was the right decision. Location is central as it's very close to the station, grocery store, good coffee shops and the Zenkoji Temple. Their home is very family friendly. High chair, pack and play and cute bowls, utensils were provided. Everything was perfect! Can't wait to be back in the area and stay again at your place! Thank you!

Kazuki and his co-hosts were extremely helpful when a show storm shutdown all the trains and buses. Local recommendations were provided. A health emergency occurred in our group and they came to our rescue providing above and beyond care getting our friend to the clinic and further transportation assistance. Other than that this place is actually slightly bigger than it looks like in the photos. It’s the last house in the driveway and it very quiet and private with large trees bordering the back of the house. I want to go back already! Thanks everyone! We appreciate everything you did for us!

Very nice place, with good hosts

This place was so cosy and comfortable . Had everything you need. Full cooking facility. The bath after snowboarding all day was amazing. Easy walk to heaps of restaurants and bus stops. Seijiro was so help full and responsive. Bed was super comfy. Heater was warm and lovely . Spotless and clean. Loved this place didn’t want to leave. Would highly recomend . Thank-you so much

The apartment was much nicer than what the pictures showed. A very nice place to stay for someone looking for a relaxing accommodation after a strenuous day or long drive.

The most magical place I've ever been. The lakefront house has a spectacular view. It's beautifully decorated, and the facilities are like new. The host was very attentive to all my questions, even when there was a situation beyond his control where he tried his best to resolve it. He showed genuine interest in resolving it and making amends. It's highly recommended for long stays. Keep in mind that there's no supermarket nearby, but there is a 7/11 a five-minute walk away. A very good sauna is located 10 minutes away. I would come back a thousand times.

Please provide precautions at the same time as check-in. It was my first time using it, but I was able to use it smoothly without worry. There were also plenty of kitchen tools, cooking utensils, and plates, so I had a fun barbecue with only ingredients. I will use it again if I have the opportunity.

The apartment in the forest was quiet and relaxing, surrounded by nature. It was impressive that we could see the stars so well.

I didn't check the message from the host, and it was warm, but I am very grateful for the polite response. Host is extremely friendly, The room was clean and comfortable like a hotel!
