Quiet B&B in Pottery town Mashiko - Tatami room

MistyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Yuriko is a wonderful and very generous host. She picked us up at the train station, even though we missed our original stop. She even drove us around the next day to visit the Hamada Museum and pottery shops. Her breakfast is wonderful, I highly recommend it. Her place is cozy and easy to feel at home.

E.English Guest House.

AnthonyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Chris went out of his way to make me feel welcome. If you are an English speaker, it may be that he can answer cultural and other questions about Japan. Chris was kind enough to drop me off at a swordsmith’s workshop nearby where I spent the day.

An authentic Japanese house (Home-stay)Room#WABI

MikeRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

Beautiful B&B in Zao with hot springs(1235)

One of the best places I've stayed, so peaceful and gorgeous and lovely in the shoulder season of may. Wako was generous in helping as needed and her breakfast was fantastic! The private onsen was just what we needed after hiking. All in all a mountain gem!

Penke Panke Lodge - Queen room, breakfast & Bike

AnnaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
The house felt just like home and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offered at the accommodation was excellent and there’s free coffee and tea for guests to enjoy at any time. The location is great in winter being close to the lifts but in autumn a lot of the restaurants were closed and it’s far to the Hakuba center. It would definitely help having a car while staying here.

Hakuba Bear's Lodge: King Room Cross-Country

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
My wife and I stayed at Bears lodge for our ski trip to Hakuba and had a really great experience. Everyone was incredibly friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. They went above and beyond picking us up and dropping us off at the bus terminal on arrival and departure. I would describe this home as a bed and breakfast style stay. You will be around others in closer proximity than you would a hotel but everyone is separated for their privacy with lockable rooms and plenty of space (considering you’re in Japan). We also used the TA-Q-BIN delivery service to send our skis which they graciously accepted before our arrival and had them waiting for us in our room. The lodge is also very conveniently located in the center of echoland with plenty of walkable restaurants and bars around as well as in very close proximity to the bus stops that pick you up and drop you off right at the base of whichever mountain you are looking to ski that day. There’s also a secure dry room for skis.

B&B&wifi ! Great access to Tokyo, Narita, Disney.2

亜沙佳Rating, 5 stars2 months ago
I stayed two nights this time. I was able to arrive on the street on the map I saw in advance, and there was a convenience store along the way, so I had a pleasant time without any inconvenience. The breakfast I had for two consecutive days was warm and warm, and it was a delicious and happy time to change the taste and menu. Thank you very much!

Onigiri House (Western-style room)

양현Rating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I was really grateful that you came to pick me up until late, and for the welcome tea, breakfast, and onigiri that I could eat on the plane. It was so delicious. I didn't think I'd experience a homely Airbnb in Japan, but I think I brought a lot of warmth from the trip. I should have left a review right away, but I'm sorry I didn't, and I hope you're happy with your dog. If I have to go to Osaka, I'll visit again:)

Pension Petit House 4 Special Room in Myoko Kogen

TabathaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This little place is a gem and the hosts are amazing! Though you can’t ski in/out, the hosts will give you a lift to any resort for the day and pick you up. They can also drive you to the restaurants in Akakura town. You can even order dinner in and the food was delicious! I would stay here again if I was visiting the area in the future.

This is a living experience that adds points to the Karuizawa trip. The landlady is very kind. Because she had time, she offered to pick us up at the station, which was a big surprise before we arrived╰ (*°▽ ° *). The╯ check-in process was smooth. The landlady's English communication was completely ok. The car rental information and surrounding activities information provided to us were very detailed and accurate ~ When I encountered problems, the landlady was also able togive me a solution right away to help me get rid of the trouble ~ The house staff is a lovely short-term part-time student, very enthusiastic and polite, we had a pleasant chat and a deeper understanding of each other's culture ~ Although it is a pity that I did not see the aunt again after the stay, I am very grateful for the thoughtful service she provided to us.

Treasure Room - Japan Style BnB

NingRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had an amazing experience at Chiyako-san's home. The traditional Japanese-style room was spacious for the two of us, and she ensured that we were comfortable and warm despite the drizzling rain outside. We explored the area and enjoyed the onsen nearby. We loved the meals we had here! For dinner (which we opted in for at an extra charge), Chiyako-san prepared a spread of fresh vegetables and meat for shabu-shabu, which was delicious. The complimentary breakfast was really appetising as well! Chiyako-san and her family are really friendly and we had a lovely time chatting with them after breakfast. Suitable for anyone looking for a short respite in the countryside of Japan!
